neutrals + high-rise boyfriend jeans

lauren sims boyfriend jeansI recently bought a hot pink sweater solely for the purpose of making myself branch out from neutrals. I wore it one night and thought ‘I can’t do this’! I really just LOVE my neutrals! And this neutral on neutral combo I’m sharing with y’all today is one of my favorites.

First of all, I have an obsession with anything high-rise. They’re so comfortable and allow you to wear shorter sweaters (like this one) with them,¬†without worrying about your midriff showing. I also love them because they’re not¬†too boyfriend. They’re not too loose (so, still show off your shape), but they’re insanely comfortable. They look great with wedges but equally as cute with adidas sneakers!

lauren sims boyfriend jeansI’m also obsessed with this simple neutral bell-sleeved sweater. It’s one that you can throw on with literally anything – leggings, boyfriend jeans, or black skinny jeans for a night out. It’s also on sale right now for less than $30 so you can’t beat that! Definitely wanting to get it in a second color.

Another great thing about this bell-sleeved sweater is you can easily pair it with cut-off shorts in the spring and summer – so it’s a great purchase for year round. I also think this boyfriend jeans (because of the light wash) are adorable in spring and summer paired with a slouchy tee or cute tank top!

Hope y’alls week is off to a great start! Thanks for stopping by!
