Ever since Michael and I got married and started to decorate/furnish our master bedroom, I’ve dreamed about having a reading nook in our room. But, we kind of had a limited space to do that, both in our house in Dallas, and now in our house in Boulder.lauren sims bedroom reading nook

My whole life I’ve always been a morning person. I swear by having a solid morning routine. I love having my quiet times in the morning – an hour or so in the morning that I’m the only one awake, to drink my coffee, read, and prepare for the day – mentally, physically and spiritually. And I’d always wanted my own space in our room to do that.lauren sims bedroom reading nook

I’ve been the biggest Pottery Barn fan for as long as I can remember. So, when I saw they launched a new collection specifically for smaller spaces…I knew this would be the perfect option for my bedroom reading nook!lauren sims bedroom reading nooklauren sims bedroom reading nook

I am giving you a fair warning: you will absolutely love everything from the Pottery Barn small spaces collection and want to add everything to your cart! This collection is SO amazing because it makes the most of small spaces. The furniture/products in the collection almost all have amazing (sometimes hidden!) storage options, creating a clever solution for any size home. The chair I got for my bedroom reading nook has storage under the seat, where I put alot of my clutches!lauren sims bedroom reading nook

The Pottery Barn small spaces collection is perfect if you’re living in your first apartment or decorating for a smaller space. They have options for living rooms, kitchens, offices, and more. The price point is also super reasonable, without sacrificing the quality!lauren sims bedroom reading nooklauren sims bedroom reading nook lauren sims bedroom reading nooklauren sims bedroom reading nook

Our bedroom reading nook was the one part of our house I had the hardest time furnishing and decorating, until I discovered the Pottery Barn small spaces collection. So, I hope this collection helps you out and inspires you as much as it did me!

Thank you to Pottery Barn for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Is that Present Over Perfect? I have been wanting to read that book ever since my friend told me how much she loved it! What do you think about it? Also, I love this idea of creating a reading nook. As someone who is positively in love with reading, I totally resonate with the importance of this. Hope you have an amazing week!

    Much love,

This is such a perfect blog post at a perfect time! I’ve been wanting to do a reading nook/loft in our new house, but honestly, there’s not a lot of info on it out there! Your nook is so cute, and I love the furniture links…so helpful!
