For those of you who follow me on snapchat (laurenkay2), you know I love to share with y’all what I’m reading – particularly my devotionals or a book that’s been encouraging me in my faith. So, today I want to share with y’all some of my favorite devotionals or Christian books I read last year.

A few of you might remember this camel coat I posted on instagram a few weeks back! I loved it so much I had to share with y’all before the blog post. The color is gorgeous, I love the semi-boyfriend look to it, and it’s the perfect weight for moderate winters like we have in Dallas!...

This year though we’re actually attending a party downtown and the attire is black tie!...

the search for security and satisfaction

lauren sims olive green cardigan

This week Michael and I have taken on the project of cleaning out our closets / doing a major de-clutter on our house. We’ve lived here less than two years and have no kids, and it isĀ insane to me how muchĀ stuff we accumulate, that we hardly use and definitely do not need. 3 days into the decluttering process and we’ve already taken two car loads worth of stuff to Good Will!...

confidence is key

lauren sims pink sweater

The older I get, the more I realize how important confidence really is. We live in a day and age of comparison which can lead to questioning what decisionsĀ you’re making, what you look like, and so on. There are more times than I’d like to admit that my lack of confidence has gotten the best of me, especially with in the blogging world....
