I don’t know about you, but picking out a new years outfit has always given me slight anxiety. I’m not much of a sequin girl, so I don’t gravitate towards the sequin leggings or solid sequin dress, as fun as those pieces might be! I want to be festive, but without being over the top.
I love this dress + vest combo from No Rest for Bridget. I think it’s classy and feminine yet also the perfect new years outfit! (At least if you’re in Texas where it’s still 70 degrees. If you’re somewhere cooler, just pair it with tights underneath!) You can’t tell in the photos because I’m wearing a vest over it, but this dress has the prettiest back, and delicate straps. The material is a super soft velvet, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through!
