I don’t know about you but when I’m planning what to wear for Valentine’s Day, I usually think about either a dress, or leather leggings, or what shoes I’ll wear. But, sometimes I’ll forget about my date night jewelry until the last minute! Which is always a tragedy because no Valentine’s Day outfit is completely without the date night jewelry.
What I love about jewelry on date night is that it really can make such a statement and take a simple outfit from “blah” to READY! A lot of the outfits I’ve worn on a date night are pretty simple (this turtleneck sweater + leather leggings), but if you add one of the statement necklaces above, then your outfit is instantly more feminine and bold! A good statement necklace or pair of drop earrings can instantly dress up even a really casual, simple outfit.
The jewelry department on the Nordstrom website has recently become one of my addictions when it comes to online shopping. I’ve been an online shopper for forever, but previously would just order the dress or the shoes. Shopping for jewelry online is the easiest thing because you never have to worry about the fit or fabric! And literally, Nordstrom has every brand of jewelry you could ever want for date night jewelry. A few of my faves: Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, and Gorjana.
