So today I’m not only really excited to share this floral off the shoulder dress with you, but also to introduce you to the amazing photographer behind these photos! The longer I blog, the more I realize that photography is not solely about talent and skill (although Hannah from Cottonwood Road Photography is extremely talented, obviously)! But blogging has really given me an appreciation for the art and style behind photography, and I’m obsessed with the style of Cottonwood Road Photography. The natural light, the beautiful details in their photos…amazing. Definitely check out their website and keep them in mind for any future wedding or engagements you or a friend might have coming up!
Now onto this off the shoulder dress. I got this dress beginning of March with one specific occasion in mind: my birthday dinner! It was perfect for dinner with our closest group of friends at Meso Maya in Dallas. I love the buttons on the front of the dress – and that it could easily be worn with flat sandals for casual daywear, or paired with dressy heels for a spring / summer wedding! (For size reference, I’m 5’7 and wearing the XS).
I love the blue color scheme in this off the shoulder dress, and that the floral pattern is fun and springy, but without being too bold or loud. If you’re someone who thinks you just can’t do florals, this dress is a great place to start! It’s floral, but subtle, and the colors will look great with nearly any skin tone.
