I’m not sure what spring looks like in other parts of the country, but here in Dallas we have about a hot second where we have absolute perfect weather for Spring. That brief moment after the dead of winter, but before the killer summer heat…it is wonderful. These sunny and 75 degree days are so perfect one of my favorite fashion combinations: a sweater with cut-off denim shorts and booties. I think this look is so flattering on any body type. It’s comfortable, yet still really cute.
You’ve seen me post these denim shorts on instagram probably 100 times. I went back and forth for months on whether or not to buy them because let’s be honest…$100 for really distressed denim shorts seems kind of ridiculous. In my opinion though, they were totally worth the money! I think they’re super comfortable, they’re very flattering, and they look great with just about every top in my spring and summer wardrobe. (For size reference, I’m wearing a 25).
All of the jewelry I’m wearing here is from one of my all-time favorite jewelry brands: gorjana. I love this jewelry because it’s dainty and classy, yet can still add so much to an outfit. These pieces can also go with anything from a white t-shirt and denim shorts, to a nice cocktail dress for an evening wedding. The quality is amazing, so you never have to worry about your skin turning green, and since the style is timeless…these are pieces I know I’ll have in my jewelry box for years to come. I also love how you can layer it, and mix and match it with so many different pieces!
