YSL lipstick (my all-time favorite!) | gift card (can be personalized!) | phone case | coffee mug | personalized journal | diptyque candle | rose gold bangle | s’well water bottle
Okay, don’t tell my mom I said this, but I feel like Mother’s Day is one of those holidays that sneaks up on you at the last minute…every. single. time! So in case you didn’t know – Mother’s Day is May 8th! Since that’s less than 3 weeks away, I thought I’d round up some Mother’s Day gift ideas for you (that are all under $50!)
So, you might be surprised to see a gift card in a “mother’s day gift ideas” round-up. BUT, here are a few reasons why I’ve come to realize a Nordstrom gift card makes a great Mother’s Day gift:
- You can personalize a Nordstrom gift card (or e-gift card) with photos of children’s artwork to make the gift card feel like a more personal gift! There are also tons of different, really cute gift cards to choose from – and I don’t know about you, but when it comes to gift cards I’m all about presentation!
- I’m not sure about your mom, but in recent years when my siblings and I ask my mom what she wants for her birthday or Mother’s Day – she more often than not has said a gift card, which I love! It makes shopping easy for us, and then she can really get what she loves! Growing up I’m pretty sure she exchanged most of the gifts we got her to get something she really loved. (No shame, I would do the same!)
- You can send an e-gift card via e-mail or have a plastic card shipped to her. Let’s be real – sometimes you get in a bind and the holiday sneaks up on you and you haven’t had time to shop yet. You can purchase the Mother’s Day gift card online and instantly have it show up in your mom’s inbox! And let’s be real – that would be the best e-mail in your inbox that day for sure!
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
