Hi guys! Hope you all had a wonder Memorial Day weekend! I went out to the lake with my family and even though it wasn’t super hot, it got me thinking about some of my summer beauty essentials that I wanted to share with y’all today! Each one of the products above are definitely on repeat for me all summer long, so I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! A few call outs:
- This tinted moisturizer has been an absolutely beauty essential for me for probably 5 years now, but especially during the summer. The coverage is great but it also looks really natural and has SPF in it. So, I wore it at the lake this weekend when I needed SPF, and wanted an even skin tone, without looking like I was wearing too much makeup. Also, a little bit goes a long way, so this bottle will last you forever!
- Whether you are full-on blonde, or brunette and have highlights like me, a good purple shampoo is an absolute MUST in the summer, and I’ve loved this blonde ale shampoo! It keeps your blonde from looking brassy and prevents color degradation (and also smells amazing!)
- This tanning lotion has been my favorite self tanner for about a year now, and I’ve tried several! First of all, this bottle might not look that big but it’s lasted me almost a year now and I still have a lot left. What I love about this self tanner though is that it actually makes a difference. I tried a few self tanners that didn’t make me any tanner, and every time I wear this one I have people tell me “you look so tan!” At the same time though, it’s not streaky and doesn’t stain your hands. It also doesn’t have that weird tanning smell. It’s definitely a summer beauty essential for me and the best tanning lotion you’ll ever try!
- I cannot live without this lip treatment in the summer (or really, all year long). I have it in at least 4 colors and keep this nude one on replenishment! It has SPF in it so it protects your lips from sun damage, it’s super moisturizing for your lips, and the colors are perfect whether you’re laying out at the beach, going to a party, or a summer date night! I’m obsessed with it!
