Hi guys! Happy Monday / first day of summer! For a while I was starting to wonder if Texas was even going to get hot this summer considering it was still in the 70’s on Memorial Day weekend. But, summer is definitely here and it was SO hot this weekend in Dallas. I love it! In honor of the first day of summer I wanted to share with y’all today one of my go-to summer looks: an off the shoulder top with cut-off shorts and lace-up sandals. You just can’t go wrong.
This particular off the shoulder top comes in several different colors and prints (dying to get this one next slash you’ll probs be seeing it in a blog post or insta soon)! I love the fit of this off the shoulder top, because it actually stays “off your shoulders”, instead of sliding back up. The top has a slight a-line shape so it’s super flattering and really comfortable!
Like I said in this post last Monday, I’m wanting to start calling out things I’m most excited for each Monday, just in an attempt to cultivate more gratitude and positivity in my weeks/life! So this week my family (my parents and two of my siblings) are getting back from Europe! They’ve been gone 2 and a half weeks (you might have seen on snapchat we’re dogsitting their little diva of a dog), and I’m so excited to see them. My little brother has actually been studying abroad in Sweden since January and I especially can’t wait to see him!
