I bought this little cream crochet dress for mine and Michael’s trip to California a few weekends back. Little white dresses are so risky because they’re either see through, too short, or too dressy (in my opinion). I am seriously so obsessed with this cream crochet dress because it meets ALL the requirements you look for in a little white dress…but also for any date night or cocktail dress as well!
First of all – this dress is not see through at all. It has a lining so you don’t have to worry about that. Second of all, I LOVE that it’s long sleeves because you better believe I’ll be pairing this cream crochet dress with over the knee boots in the Fall! The crochet/lace detail on the sleeves makes it so feminine with a little boho twist…which is exactly how I like to describe my personal style! I also love the color of this dress. It’s not “white white” so you can still wear it in the fall, and it looks great with any skin tone!
Now…let’s talk about these strappy suede sandals. I’ll be honest. This was a purchase I made and I had slight buyer’s remorse after I hit the “check out” button online because I was like “really Lauren? do you REALLY need another pair of sandals?” Y’all, as soon as they came in the mail and I tried them on…the buyer’s remorse was NO MORE, because it was love at first sight! (Or, at first try on).
These sandals somehow look amazing with EVERYTHING. I wear them with jeans, sun dresses, and cocktail dresses and get compliments on them all the time. They are SUPER comfortable (which is huge for me, because I’m a wimp when it comes to heels). For me, they were 100% worth the money and I’ve gotten tons of use out of them! (If they’re currently sold out, make sure you keep checking back because Nordstrom has restocked them in the past!)
