I’m about to tell you something semi-embarassing. Did you know that this is the first year I’ve ever really shopped/fully taken advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale?! In previous years I always thought “sure that’s great, you can get a discount on massive coats in the middle of summer when it’s currently 101 in Dallas.” But whoa, was I wrong, and missed out on so many great Fall and transitional pieces for my wardrobe!
One of my favorite things about the Nordstrom sale has actually been that: transitional pieces. Those months (or maybe one month for Dallas haha) where the temperature finally cools off, but it’s not quite cold enough for big sweaters and scarves yet…I’ve always struggled knowing what to wear! There are SO many great transitional pieces on the #NSale to wear during this time! This sleeveless plaid shirt I’m sharing with y’all today looks adorable with cut-off denim shorts and sandals, but I also can’t wait to wear it in the fall underneath a cardigan with these skinny jeans and booties (or these over the knee boots!). You might not be able to tell from the photos because I tucked it in in the front, but the shirt has an oversized fit and I love the length of it! (You can see it’s a little bit longer in the back!)
So if you’ve also skipped out on #NSale shopping because you just can’t bring yourself to buy a fur coat in August…don’t be mistaken! There are SO many “buy now wear now” pieces on the sale, that will also transition seamlessly into Fall!
