I was talking with a friend last night about how this is probably my least favorite time of year, in regards to fashion/picking out outfits to wear and shoot. I don’t know about you but I am SO over sandals, which can be difficult when temps are still in the 90’s in Dallas.
It might still be too hot for OTK boots and blanket scarves…but I’m just going for it with the booties! I LOVE wearing booties with shorts and wanted to create a little round up of my favorite booties for Fall with you guys!
First of all, if you’re on the hunt for booties…my go to retailer for shoes is Nordstrom hands down. You’ll be able to find nearly any designer/brand of shoes you’re looking for, at so many different price points. I love these black booties in the photos above because the heel height is perfect, they’re super comfortable if you’ll be walking around, and I think they have a really unique shape to them. Personally I feel like black booties are really difficult to find and love, so when I laid eyes on these, I knew I had to have them!

Obviously this pair of suede booties is my go-to. They are SO comfortable and legitimately go with everything. I almost wish I would have bought two pair of them haha because I know I’m going to wear the heck out of them this fall!
The most recent pair of booties I’ve added to my collection are these peep toe suede beauties! They come in a BEAUTIFUL grey color that I just ordered as well. I like these because I feel like they can look more dressed up than most booties. You could pair them with jeans and a nice top for a going out look, and they look great with dresses as well.
