Free people sweater (wearing the XS, also comes in black) | Ripped high rise skinny jeans | Suede booties (similar here) | Tortoise sunglasses | Leather watch | Periwinkle earrings | Nude matte lip color (in “miso pretty”)
I’ll be honest with y’all. I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on this Free People sweater because it’s not my typical “under $50” purchase (and usually Michael and I will run any purchase over $100 by each other for approval)! Any hesitancies I had though totally vanished the second the sweater came in the mail and I tried it on. It took everything in me not to run to my laptop to order it in a second color!
I am ALL about finding a bargain, and great purchases for under $50. But, there is something to be said about having a few amazing quality pieces in your wardrobe that you legitimately get so excited to wear every time. That’s how this Free People sweater is for me. It is SUPER soft (can’t stand itchy sweaters), and I love the swingy-fit of it – the sweater is loose but still very feminine and flattering which is hard to find in a sweater! And I think the zipper in the back is the CUTEST little detail that just makes the sweater!
I brought this Free People sweater with me to Colorado a few weekends ago. Not to toot my own horn but I did a pretty great job packing for that trip – planned each outfit out for each occasion. However, I loved this sweater so much that I ended up wearing it twice in the same weekend! In front of the same people! It was totally worth every penny…and I may or may not have the black one sitting in my cart as we speak!
I also want to talk briefly about this matte lip color that I’m wearing from Too Faced. I have this liquified matte lipstick in at least 3 colors now and am completely obsessed. It’s not super drying like most lip stains are, and seriously stays on forever! (Like I have to use coconut oil to get it off at night haha). You should totally try it out though if you’ve been looking for a great long-lasting lip color!
