When Michael and I went to Florence in September, I was bound and determined to buy a leather or suede jacket. I was told that’s what people do in Florence because of all the leather factories there. Michael had great luck and found a gorgeous leather jacket on our first shopping trip! Sadly, I left empty handed. I always LOVE leather or suede jackets on other people, but I’ve never felt like they are “me”. I always feel too much like a biker or too hardcore…neither of which are really my style haha.
When I first saw this suede jacket online, I instantly fell in love with the gorgeous tan color. I also thought the price point was super reasonable, and it has GREAT reviews. So I thought to myself “what the heck, why not give it a try”.
Y’all this is the first suede jacket I have ever owned, because it’s the only suede jacket I’ve ever LOVED! I’m pretty sure I wore it 3 days in a row when I first got it. To a date night, dinner with Michael’s parents and out running errands another day.

This suede jacket has an amazing fit. It’s fitted, without being too tight. I got the XS because I layer it with just a light tank or long sleeve underneath. If you want to wear yours with thick sweaters though, I would recommend sizing up! It’s the perfect “winter date night” jacket (because there are some occasions where a big bulky parka just doesn’t work!).
I also have a major love for pairing black and brown together, and this suede jacket (color is ‘coffee bean’) looks GREAT with black!
