December is HERE y’all! Let’s be real. Shopping for mom is never an easy / simple task. At least it’s not in my family! Moms can be hard to shop for because you want to get them something special, but also something that they would really want. And if your mom is anything like my mom, she’s probably got a ton of stuff already and is pretty picky.
So today I’ve rounded up several gift ideas for mom (or mother-in-law!) that either 1) came from my mom’s Christmas list! or 2) are gifts that we’ve given her before that she really loved! or 3) just gift ideas for mom that I personally think she’d really enjoy!

A few callouts:
- I’ve posted about this barefoot dreams cardigan several times. I got it on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because I’d heard such great things about it, but couldn’t bring myself to pay full price for it. Y’all believe me when I say…it is worth every penny. I wore it out to my parents last weekend for Thanksgiving (see my insta of it here), and after my mom tried it on…she and my sister both added it to their Christmas lists! It’s not necessarily cheap so maybe see if a sibling would want to go in on the gift with you. I promise – she will LOVE it! It’s one of those cardigans you wear on an airplane, you wear in the morning instead of a robe, you bring to restaurants…it’s perfect.
- LAFCO candle – you might think a candle is a boring gift or not personal…if it was any other candle I might agree with you. But we have at least one LAFCO candle in each room in our house and they’re amazing. First of all, they burn forever. Ours have lasted months and months. They obviously smell amazing, but they’re also just really pretty candles / decorations to have out!
