So I don’t know about you…but at this point in winter, my “BUY ALL THE WINTER AND WARM THINGS!” craze has kind of slowed down. When cold weather first hits I go crazy for all the blanket scarves and coats and warm sweaters. At this point in winter though, I’ve noticed I’m starting to just repeat some of my favorite winter items…and this free people sweater is definitely one of them.
This free people sweater was one that I didn’t even have to think twice about, or go to the store to try on. I saw it online, clicked ‘add to cart’ and ‘checkout’ before I even knew what hit me! I LOVE the oversized / swingy fit of it and that you can layer a long sleeve tee underneath! The zipper on the neck is so cute and allows you to wear it so many different ways.
A few other winter faves: my go-to suede boots and this adorable beanie (which is only $25). Since Texas doesn’t really call for beanies that often, I only own maybe 2 or 3, and I’ve gotten SO much use out of this little tan one! The neutral colors make it easy to pair with anything and it’s so warm!
These pics were shot in Central Park a few weeks ago when Michael and I were in NYC! If my face looks a little red it’s because it was FREEZING! Even though I’m a baby when it comes to cold weather…I’ve got to say, winter fashion is totally my favorite. Sweaters like this free people sweater, suede boots, warm beanies…they just make me happy!
