Hi guys! Hope you all had a restful weekend. I feel like I blinked and it was already over haha. Things are crazy right now with packing and getting everything ready for the move! Like I mentioned last week, before we move to Boulder, I’m wanting to round up a few ‘best of Dallas’ posts for y’all. Last week I did ‘best of Dallas food‘ and today I’m going to be sharing my tried and true favorite beauty spots in Dallas! (in addition to this Valentine’s Day outfit!)

Naomi Elizabeth Studio (lashes)

I first got lash extensions from Amanda at Naomi Elizabeth Studio In May 2015. My mom and sisters and I were going to Mexico and I thought it’d be so nice to have long lashes without having to worry about putting on makeup at the beach. Y’all….I got HOOKED to say the least. Honestly having lash extensions is one of my favorite things in the world. On a daily basis, I NEVER wear eye makeup (unless I’m getting dressed up for whatever reason), and my lashes always look so full!

The girls at Naomi Elizabeth Studio are huge on applying lashes in the most natural/safe way possible to protect your lashes. I have heard horror stories of people’s lashes getting SO damaged from other lash studios, but I have not noticed any damage with my lashes whatsoever. I get mine filled every two weeks, but you could definitely stretch it to 3 if you wanted to! I will miss Amanda SO much when we move!

Bellacures (nails)

I’ve been going to Bellacures for my mani/pedis for almost 2 years now, and have always been MORE than satisfied with their work/service there! First of all, it’s in a great location for me (Preston Center), so it’s super convenient. I get the Nexgen, or dipping powder on my nails and love it! Bellacures has tons of color options, and my manicure stays for 3 weeks without chipping at all! Everyone who works there is super nice and I’ve loved developing a relationship with them over last couple years!

FORM Salon (hair)

I’ve gone to Charleigh at FORM Salon for my hair color for 2 years now, and hope she keeps doing hair for forever because I never want to go to anyone else! (Like even when we move, I’m still coming back to Dallas to see her haha). In case you didn’t know this already, I am SUPER picky/particular with my hair, and I’ve always loved how Charleigh has done my color. She’s just got a gift and a great eye. I trust her implicitly with my hair which is saying alot!

Ashley at FORM Salon did my hair extensions for the first time almost a year ago and I LOVE having them! Ashley is seriously a MASTER at these types of hair extensions – she matches the color perfectly, blends them so well, and then cuts/layers them in a way that makes the hair look so natural. She also is amazing at cutting hair if you’re in need of a great hair cut in Dallas! (If you have more questions about hair extensions, check out this post I did on them).

Simply Glowing (spray tan)

Prior to finding Kari at Simply Glowing, I was always SO skeptical of spray tans and honestly never had a good experience with them. They smelled weird or looked orange or got all over everything. My mind was TOTALLY changed though when I first got a spray tan by Kari! The tan looked so beautiful, but not too obvious. It stays on for several days and is basically like an instant confidence boost. I get a spray tan from Kari anytime I’m in a wedding or have a big event/party to go to. Also, Simply Glowing is Vegan, Paraben Free, Formaldehyde Free, Phthalate Free and SD-Alcohol Free. Definitely the best spray tan in Dallas IMO!

In case you’re in need of a Valentine’s Day outfit…the second I laid eyes on this tunic sweater, “valentine’s day” was the first thing that popped into my mind! The lace is actually part of the sweater, so you don’t have to worry about wearing a bralette or anything underneath – it just comes this way! It’s pretty and feminine but the lace gives it that extra sass you might want for a Valentine’s day outfit or date night look!
