I have a weakness for tops that you can throw on with jeans for just about any occasion and not give it a second thought. This (under $50) off the shoulder tunic is one of those tops that you throw on when you get out of the shower and have 20 minutes to get ready, don’t have time to try a million things on, but you know you’ll look and feel great in this top!
There’s also something so classic about a great neutral palette – I love wearing white and and camel together…especially paired with denim! I just got these suede caramel sandals and know they will be my go-to sandal for spring and summer! Even though the heel is a decent size, they’re surprisingly comfortable and super easy to walk in. They come in multiple colors too and I’m definitely thinking about snagging them in a second pair!
Another thing I love about this off the shoulder tunic is the length. When I first ordered it online I thought it was just your standard shirt length, but it’s actually pretty long which made me love it even more! It looks adorable with skinny jeans, leggings, but would be super cute tucked until a pair of denims shorts during the summer as well.
Also wanted to give you guys a quick life update about the move! We have been packing our hearts out this past week, found tenants for our house in Dallas (we’re just leasing it for now, not selling), and are moving to Boulder on SUNDAY. Honestly it feels so surreal / like such a dream. It hasn’t actually hit me that we’re moving yet, just because we’ve been so busy with packing and preparing to move. I’m sure it will hit me sometime during my 14 hour drive to Colorado.
Outfit details: Off the shoulder tunic (I’m wearing the XS, similar here) | Distressed skinny jeans | Suede sandals | Zac Zac Posen handbag | Round aviators | Ear crawlers | Necklace | Rose gold ring
We’ve had a few going away parties / dinners this week and it’s just reminded me of how blessed our lives are – in general, but specifically in Dallas. We have such an amazing community of family and friends here that mean the absolute world to us and have been so thoughtful / generous this week. Last night was my going away happy hour / meet-up at Saint Ann in Dallas and I just wanted to say…thank you SO much for those of you who came! It was such a blast getting to meet a few of you who follow me or who I’ve e-mailed with / snapchatted over the past couple years. Y’alls support and encouragement mean more to me than you know, and I absolutely loved getting to meet y’all and chat in person.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
