If you follow me on instagram, then you probably experienced some of mine and Michael’s trip to Garden of the Gods Resort last week! Obviously I have a major case of wanderlust and love to travel, but I loved this trip so much because it was only an hour and a half away from where we live in Boulder. It was such a fun way to explore this beautiful state we get to call home right now!

If you have a weekend trip coming up (or, several getaway trips throughout the summer!) this is seriously the PERFECT weekend getaway bag. The quality is amazing, and it can fit a surprising amount of clothes…but the bag is also SUPER budget friendly! (I have a few different Sole Society weekend bags and love all of them! Can’t recommend them enough).

I’m also obsessed with these knotted sandals I wore for our Colorado Springs trip. Again, super budget-friendly (like anything else you’ll find at Sole Society!) but I love that they legit went with every outfit I brought for our trip! I wore these sandals to the pool, with cut-off shorts, and white skinny jeans! Could definitely see these becoming my go-to sandal for summer!

What are your travel plans for this summer? If you don’t have a ton of PTO or a huge travel budget…I’d encourage you to try and plan a few fun weekend getaways, even just an hour away! If you’re in Dallas…plan a road trip to Austin for the weekend with girlfriends, or go stay at an air bnb in Fredericksburg with your hubs! There can be so much adventure found in simple trips like this, and great quality time with friends or your man.
