SO, yesterday I covered my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – the things that will definitely sell out the fastest (if they haven’t already!). BTW – if things do sell out – keep checking back. Nordstrom will most likely be restocking a lot of things from the sale. ANYWAY – today I want to cover what my personal favorite purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! Which…I’ve actually been really surprised by! I assumed my favorites would all be similar to my favorites from last year. Some have been the same, but some have been really different!
BTW – The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale obviously has hundreds of amazing things on it – cute rompers, t-shirts, dresses, etc. My favorite purchases from the sale though are ones I know I can mix and match into several different outfits, and wear through the entire Fall season.

I have a feeling this cardigan will be one that’s consistently going in and out of stock, so keep an eye out for it. This is probably my favorite cardigan from the sale because I’m such a sucker for camel. The camel/black combo is so cozy for fall and goes with
Item: Paige high waist skinny ankle jeans (price: $99.90, after sale $189) | Fit: true to size – I’m wearing the 25
I have two favorite pair of jeans from the NSale and this is definitely one of them. First of all, the price is SO good – they’re nearly half off. Second of all, they’re super flattering (I love the high waist), and I love that they can sort of be a dressier jean of you need them to be.
Item: Jeffrey Campbell Bootie (price: $89.90, after sale $134.95) | Fit: true to size – I’m wearing my normal shoe size (8)
I love the slouchiness / casualness of these booties. I also like that they have a heel, but not too high of a heel. They also go with everything from jeans to dresses!
Item: Free People slouchy plaid button down (price $64.90, after sale $98) | Fit: oversized – I’m wearing the XS and it’s still really big!
This plaid shirt was one of the first things I added to my cart. I don’t remember seeing Free People on anniversary sale in previous years so I was so excited when I saw this! This top is insanely soft, looks adorable under a cardigan, and also works really well with leggings! I ordered it in this color and the black and white.

I mentioned above I had two favorite jeans from the sale – and this is the second pair! Y’all know how obsessed I am with AG and I love the wash on these jeans. I like that they’re not distressed, but still have a really casual/laid back feel. Also love the raw hem at the ankle!
Item: Tory Burch Frida leather satchel bag (price $329.90, after sale $498)
If you follow me on instagram, you know this is my favorite purchase so far from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Each year I have one ‘splurge’ item, and this is it for me this year. I love the size of this bag – it can hold my swell bottle, my macbook, and/or my iPad. I love that it can be casual or dressy and there are several ways to wear it. I also love how the leather looks/feels. This bag also comes in a really pretty grey color if pink isn’t your thing!
Item: Vince Camuto Madolee Over the Knee Boot (price, $159.90, after sale $239.95) | Fit – true to size. Definitely made for a narrow-ish calf though!
I picked up these OTK boots in Nordstrom yesterday and ordered this pair because they weren’t available in store. So, the jury is still out in which pair is my favorite. But I really liked this pair because the suede was beautiful and I like the detailing on the boot!
Item: BP long sleeve slouchy tee (price $18.90, after sale $20) | Fit: oversized – I’m wearing the XS
This is such a simple item to be one of my favorites, but I love how soft and slouchy this tee is. It’s also perfect for layering underneath cardigans or vests! And for under $20, you’ll definitely want it in multiple colors.
Item: BP lightweight cardigan (price $31.90, after sale $49) | Fit: pretty true to size – I’m wearing the XS
Another amazing fall staple for only $32! This lightweight cardigan comes in tons of colors and will be what you grab anytime you’re heading out of town, or running to the grocery store this fall. Even though it’s inexpensive, the sweater is super soft and not itchy at all.
Item: AG step hem skinny ankle jeans (price $163, afer sale $245) | Fit: true to size – I’m wearing the 25. (If in between sizes though, I’d recommend going up a size)
These were another one of the first things I ordered from Anniverary Sale because I didn’t want them to sell out! The step hem / distressing on these is different than any other pair I own so I like that they add some variety to my jeans. Also, like all AG jeans, they are super comfortable and fit really well! TBH I like my other two pair of jeans I mentioned above more…but these are still a great pair of jeans on major sale!
Item: Vince Camuto Fileana split shaft bootie (price $99, after sale $149.50) | Fit: true to size
First of all, the sale on these booties is amazing. Definitely get them now instead of paying $150! Second of all…I knew these would be a fave the second I saw them in the catalog and they absolutely are. I love the little split shaft, the neutral color…and that they give a bootie a more feminine look.

Okay y’all get ready to just fall out of your chairs with this cashmere vest. I actually wasn’t planning on buying this but walked past it in the store and knew I needed it. Seriously the softest thing ever and has a really feminine fit. It’s perfect paired with leggings for lounging/traveling, but could just as easily be more dressed up like I wore it here! I really am obsessed with it and want more colors!
Item: Rebecca Minkoff embroidered bag (price, $189, after sale $275)
To be honest, this was one of the items I was really surprised by! I’m obviously more of a simple handbag type of girl and didn’t love this one when I first saw it online. I fell in love with it when I saw it in the store though! The size is perfect for like a night out / wedding type of bag. I also love that the embroidery makes it special (or a step above just a plain handbag), but the colors are neutral enough to where this could pair with nearly any fall outfit! AND it has an outside compartment!

I got this circle cardigan on anniversary sale last year in the orange-ish color and lived it in all of fall! It’s insanely soft and I love how it’s longer in the back. The quality is also amazing and it doesn’t pill at all. I got this in this light tan color, as well as the pink!
Item: Madewell transport tote (price $129.90, after sale $198)
If you’ve been following me for a while then you know I take my Madewell transport tote everywhere with me – it’s in almost every one of my airport #ootd pics! This is SUCH an amazing quality tote – perfect for work or traveling. The leather is incredibly strong and it will last you forever. I already had the solid one, but I love this stripe one they made for anniversary sale!
Item: Caslon striped tee (price $17.90, after sale $25) | Fit: true to size – I’m wearing the XS
This is such a great basic tee that comes in tons of colors, and I grab it in at least one or two every anniversary sale! I wear them alone with cut-offs in the summer and use them for layering in the fall. They are super soft and have a very flattering fit.

Another oversized cardigan I’m loving from the sale! This one is super soft and even though it’s oversized, it’s not crazy heavy which I like. I’m sure this will be another one they continue to restock, so keep checking back if they don’t have your size right now!

I don’t think I bought any sunglasses on anniversary sale last year, and this year I like can’t stop myself from the sunglass selection! All 3 of these sunnies are less than $60 and I LOVE them! The shape is so fun on each of them and I love the colors! This Madewell jacket is such a fall staple for me – it’s the perfect weight and goes with everything. I ordered it in the blue color because I wear my green one so often!
I got this barefoot dreams cardigan last year on anniversary sale and it was hands down in my top 5 purchases from the whole sale. I loved it so much that I convined my mom and sister to get one too and they are equally as obsessed! You can wear it on planes or wear it at home as a robe – it is the softest thing ever
Those are my best purchases from the sale so far! I haven’t gotten into the beauty yet that’s on anniversary sale because we’re traveling this weekend, but I’ll definitely be sharing my beauty faves with y’all too, very soon!
