Between the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and starting to transition to Fall…my credit card has definitely been getting more action than usual on some amazing fall / beauty purchases. So, today I wanted to round up for y’all 10 of my best purchases from the last month or so! If you follow me on instagram (or follow the blog), you can probably guess most of my picks because I wear these items almost DAILY!

First thing on the list is this embroidered crossbody bag. I was a little unsure about it when I first saw it online…because I’ve never had a purse with any kind of pattern on it. But I have legit carried this purse almost every single day since I got it about 6 weeks ago. I’ve been SO surprised how many different outfits it goes with. I also love that this dress can be worn to a fall wedding, and just as easily go with jeans and a t-shirt. The neutral colors in it make it easy to pair with greens, pinks, navy, and of course any other neutral color!
I also love the size of this bag. It’s big enough to fit my wallet, phone, gum, and lipsticks…just the essentials!

Next on my list is these rag & bone suede booties. Let’s be real: these booties are NOT cheap. This is the most money I have ever spent on a pair of shoes, but I can honestly say that for me…they are 100% worth every penny. Obviously I’m a sucker for booties (the amount of tan suede booties I have is borderline unhealthy)…but this pair stands above the rest for a few reasons. First of all (and most important): they are insanely comfortable. Alot of booties are too pointy at the toe or the heel is too high or give you blisters…but not these. I can honestly walk around in them all day (I’ve done it a few times now) and my feet NEVER hurt or get tired.
I also love that these booties somehow magically look great with everything. They are adorable with shorts, dresses, skinny jeans, and boyfriend jeans. Several of you messaged me about these booties too saying you’ve had yours for years and they are still in great shape, which is amazing! Hopefully you like them too because you will be seeing ALOT of them this fall in my outfit posts!

Next on my list of best recent purchases is this ‘butter’ high/low long sleeve top. (I’m wearing it above in the green and the black colors). This top is only $42 but the quality is amazing! It’s more substantial than a super thin tee and it’s flattering on ANY body type. I love it because it’s become my new ‘I don’t know what to wear’ top. We all have them. When you’re leaving for dinner in 10 mins and have no idea wha to wear, so you throw on something you know you always feel great in. This is that top for me. It’s also adorable layered under a cardigan or denim jacket! (For size reference, I’m wearing the XS).
Next on my list (not pictured here but) is THIS dry shampoo! Y’all know how strongly I feel about going as long as possible without washing my hair…so having a good dry shampoo is CRUCIAL for me. I’ve legit tried at least 15 dry shampoos and this one by far is my favorite I’ve ever tried (drybar’s detox dry shampoo is second). I love this one because it doesn’t leave any residue in your hair, it actually absorbs the oil and makes your hair look SUPER clean again, and it’s actually nourishing for your hair as well! Buy this. I promise you will be obsessed.

Another one of my best purchases is definitely these AG raw hem skinny ankle jeans. If you don’t believe me, go read all 273 reviews on Nordstrom’s website about how amazing they are! I’ve already raved about them in other NSale posts so I won’t go into too much detail…but basically they are super flattering, so comfortable, and the perfect denim for fall.
Another one of my favorite purchases from the last month or so is this $24 v-neck tee. Probably seems super boring slash basic but I wear this tee ALL the time. Pretty much any time we fly, I grab this t-shirt, the AG jeans above, cardigan, and I’m done. I also always pack it on trips bc you can never go wrong with great denim and the perfect t-shirt. This tee is really soft and has a very flattering / oversized fit. I’m wearing the XS for size reference.

Sorry for the awkward car selfie haha but this lip color I’m wearing here has been SUCH a great purchase. It comes in a set that has 2 lipsticks and 2 lip glossses and I legit love all 4 colors in there. You can also mix different lipsticks with the gloss to get a variety of colors. The lipsticks stay on super well without drying your lips out! I love that these pink colors are so perfect for fall too!

Next on the list (surprise!) is this oversized v-neck sweater (also available here). I’ve posted it several times on the blog and instagram already so y’all probably already know how amazing it is haha. But I love this sweater because it’s one you can throw on for a date night, for a dinner party, for church, running errands…and literally everything else, and still feel really comfortable, and really cute! The oversized fit looks adorable with skinny jeans, and it comes in several colors. (I just ordered the pink and the black as well!)

This isn’t a great pic of them, but I discovered these running shorts about a month ago and my life has pretty much been changed ever since. I already own them in two colors but seriously want a million more. First of all I love the length (I got the ‘long’ length because I really don’t like super short shorts for running). I also love that they aren’t butt tight – I guess everyone is different but I hate running in tight running shorts. I also don’t like running in super loose shorts either (like the Nike shorts for instance). These aren’t too tight, but they’re also not super loose either. They are lined, breathe really well, and have a very flattering fit. If you’re a runner…go buy these! If you’re not a runner…you should still buy them bc they’re still awesome haha.
