When Michael and I moved to Colorado last February (can’t believe it’s already been almost 7 months!), there was A LOT of change that came with that. One of the biggest changes I noticed physically was my SKIN! Obviously Dallas and Colorado have polar opposite climates and I noticed when we moved that my skin got so dry here. I rarely applied lotion in Dallas, and now I need it multiple times a day!PIN IT
When we moved to Colorado, I developed a body skincare routine for the first time to help with my dry skin! Obviously I’ve had a skincare routine for my face for forever…but never put much effort into taking care of my body’s skin, until now…and it’s made SUCH a difference in how my skin looks and feels. (BTW – sorry about the bandaids in all these photos! if you follow me on instagram you know I had a bad fall during our 10K race a few weeks ago and still recovering!)PIN IT
I’m obsessed with all things coconut so when I heard about Kopari’s products (all coconut oil based) I couldn’t wait to try them out. I’d previously used their organic coconut melt for my hair and loved it, so when I saw they came out with a body line…I couldn’t wait to try it out on my dry skin to see if it helped!
I’ve added these three products to my regular skincare routine and almost feel like I’m giving myself a spa treatment everytime I use them! First I use this coconut scrub (probably my favorite product out of all 3!) when I’m in the shower. This brown sugar scrub is infused with small pieces of Tahitian coconut shell to buff the dry stuff right off your body! I don’t use it everytime I shower, but at least 3 times a week for sure to give my skin a good exfoliating treatment! Plus it smells like a vacation in a bottle!

When I get out of the shower and my skin is still damp, I use this coconut body oil. It also smells amazing and hydrates your skin SO well, without being sticky at all! I’d tried other coconut oil products before for my skin, but didn’t like them because I just felt sticky afterwards. This body oil is actually a spray, so it quickly absorbs and restores skin to its former supple self.PIN IT
Sometimes I will just do those two products (the scrub and then the coconut oil spray), but if my skin is really dry (either if I’ve been in the sun a lot, or it’s the dead of winter), then I use this coconut body milk after the spray. This lotion is also very fast absorbing and it actually gets under your skin to keep it SO soft all day long! PIN IT

Another reason I love Kopari products is because I never have to worry about the side effects it might have on my skin. I have VERY sensitive skin and break out in rashes really easily. Pretty much anytime I try a new lotion I get a super itchy rash. I’ve never had that issue with Kopari products though because they are sourced from 100% organic coconut oil. They have no sulfates, no silicones, no parabens, and no toxins! Let me tell ya…that is NOT an easy thing to find – especially because Kopari products are still super effective and don’t break the bank!
Thank y’all for reading! If you have dry skin at all or just need a good refresh after the summer sun, I really cannot recommend this body care line from Kopari enough.
