Hey y’all! Hope you all had a great weekend. Today’s post is a little different than my normal outfit posts, because I’m going to be showing one outfit, but worn 3 different ways, simply by changing up my shoes!
In case you didn’t know this about me already, shoes are definitely a weakness of mine…because they can truly add so much diversity to your wardrobe. Dolce Vita shoes specifically are a major weakness of mine, because her shoes are such good quality and always on trend! Also, every pair of Dolce Vita shoes I’ve ever owned have been SO comfortable and lasted me years!
Anyway, back to my original point about shoes diversifying your wardrobe. This simple denim outfit is totally taken to the next level of cool with these metallic kicks IMO! It takes the outfit from “basic” to “street style cool”. This outfit paired with these rose gold kicks is a perfect outfit for walking around NYC or anytime you’re going for that street style chic look!
So, this denim outfit paired with the metallic kicks was “street style cool”, and paired with these adorable low heel booties is what I call my “everyday life” look. These little ankle booties are insanely comfortable (I wore them all day everyday when we were walking around LA last week and my feet never hurt), and they also look adorable with dresses! So the same outfit that was NYC cool with the kicks, is now perfect for everyday life and errands with this perfect low heel bootie!
Lastly, I paired my simple denim outfit with these amazing suede booties with a semi pointed toe (these are probably my favorite shoes out of the three). Pairing the denim look with these chic booties makes this a perfect look for meeting your mom for brunch at Northpark in Dallas, or running up to your husband’s work to meet him for lunch. They dress this look up just enough, while still looking casual and effortless. I love how they make a statement with their slightly higher shaft and pointed toe, while still being a classic suede bootie!
outfit details: striped tee | black skinny jeans (similar here) | denim jacket | suede booties | low heel booties | metallic kicks | leather tote | sunglasses
To be honest I struggle with buying the same type of shoe over and over that I really don’t need, and that does nothing to diversify my wardrobe. So just want to challenge y’all to branch out in your shoe collection! Definitely check out Dolce Vita shoes at Bloomingdale’s for some inspo, because they have an amazing selection! Bloomingdale’s is such a good shopping destination too because they carry such a huge variety of brands, at so many price points! If you haven’t shopped their site before, I highly recommend it.
My mom and I leave for our London trip tomorrow and you better believe at least one of these pairs of Dolce Vita shoes will be coming with me!
Thanks for reading y’all!
