One thing I knew right away when we decided to make the move from Dallas to Boulder was that my wardrobe would need to change. What I did not know though was how important (slash worth it) it is to invest in great outerwear and what a huge difference that can make in handling the cold weather!

I’m currently on a mission to convince my friends and family from Dallas to move to Boulder, and SO many girls say “I couldn’t handle the cold!”. Believe me when I say (or ask Michael haha) I am the biggest baby ever when it comes to cold weather. Like when it’s 65 outside I consider that chilly. So I knew when we moved here, Michael and I would both need to invest in some good outerwear!
When we were in Dallas I had a few coats that were cute that I’d wear for a season or two, and then get a new one next winter. These two Canada Goose jackets I’m sharing with y’all today are on a whole other level from that type of coat!

First of all let me clarify: these coats are investment pieces. The style is classic and the quality is a 10 on a 10, so you will wear this coat for years and years to come! When I first saw the price tag on these jackets, I couldn’t imagine spending that much on a coat TBH. But now that we have our Canada Goose jackets, Michael and I both agree that they make all the difference in the world in handling cold weather!

If you live somewhere like NYC, Boston, Chicago, Colorado, etc…you know how brutal it can be walking from your car to work, or the grocery store, or being outside at all in those frigid temps. I have been blown away at how warm this Canada Goose jacket keeps me! This particular jacket is designed to keep you warm down to to -4 F! Michael and I went to a rooftop happy hour a few weeks ago on a cold + windy day in Denver, and I was wearing this jacket and not cold at all! (Which for me, is a miracle!) In my opinion, this truly is the best coat for cold weather that you will eve find.

The jacket is not only worth it because of how warm it will keep you, but has tons of really cool features as well. This jacket is water resistant, has fleece-lined hand warmer pockets and has rib-knit inset cuffs to help to keep out the cold. There are so many features about this jacket designed to keep you warm and dry!

Michael’s jacket has the exact same quality + functionality, plus it has a detachable hood! It’s the perfect jacket to wear in the mountains, or for anyone living in a cold city who spends a decent amount of time outside. I love the sporty yet sleek look of his coat! So if you’re moving to Colorado or somewhere cold and also afraid of the cold weather…I truly cannot recommend Canada Goose jackets enough! They’re an investment for sure but 100% worth the money in my opinion! And if you feel like splurging for a gift idea for your man…pretty sure you’d win best wife / girlfriend of the year if you got him one of these coats haha!
