First thing’s first – happy cyber Monday! Taking a slight break from all the sale posts (make sure to check out my black Friday and Saturday posts for lots of sale info still happening today!), to share my new denim obsession with y’all – which also happen to be on sale today!
It might seem a little much to dedicate an entire blog post to one pair of jeans, but believe me y’all. They are worth it. I love these jeans too much to NOT share with y’all + convince them you need them! Whenever I’d ask people what their favorite brand of denim was…I’d always heard people rave about Citizens of Humanity. So about a month ago I decided to try a pair of Citizens on and was SOLD right away!
I don’t know about you but I don’t always love wearing jeans. You know what I’m talking about – especially after thanksgiving or around the holidays…pulling on your skinny jeans is work and don’t always make you feel like a 10. This is exactly why I’m obsessed with my new Citizens jeans from Nordstrom.
This specific pair is called the ‘sculpt rocket skinny jeans’ and that’s exactly what they do. They sculpt you in all the right places so they are insanely flattering AND comfortable at the same time. I wore these jeans on our flight from Denver to Dallas and wore them to Thanksgiving dinner, and was SO comfortable for both situations. And still felt like they were slimming / flattering even after Thanksgiving dinner!
Also let’s be real – these jeans aren’t cheap. But because of their amazing quality, it’s a pair of jeans you’ll pay for and wear hundreds and hundreds of times, without them wearing out! I wouldn’t recommend these to you if I wasn’t confident you would MORE than get your money’s worth out of them! They’re also on sale today so NOW IS DEFINITELY the time to buy them!
For sizing info – I’d say they run true to size. I always wear a 25 so I got a 25 in these and they fit great. If you are in between sizes (like sometimes a 25, sometimes a 26), I’d suggest going with the bigger size between the two.

Something I love about Nordstrom is that you can order these jeans online in two sizes if you’re unsure with free shipping, and then ship it back for free as well because of their free return policy! Or if you’re wanting to explore more options for jeans…I love shopping denim from their site and finding new styles from my favorite brands, or reading the reviews! It’s the best way to shop for denim in my opinion.
