Now that Valentine’s Day is over, I feel like spring is JUST around the corner, and I’m so excited! Don’t get me wrong, there are few things I love more than big cozy sweaters and beanies…but there’s something so fun about starting to shop for spring things (and the idea of it not being cold anymore haha). Yesterday it was 60 and sunny in Boulder and got me so excited for a new season. If you’re also starting to shop for spring, today I want to share a few spring basics for both him and her that Michael and I are loving!
I don’t know about where you live but it stays cold in Boulder for a WHILE. So, when we are shopping for spring it’s all about layers. Michael and I both love this hoodie (similar here) he’s wearing in these pics. The herringbone pattern kind of elevates it from a basic hoodie, so it can be worn with something other than sweats. It’s not cheap but the quality is amazing and it’s a style I know he’ll wear forever.
Another crucial spring staple for him is a great pair of jeans. I convinced Michael a few years ago to try a pair of AG jeans on, and he’s been hooked ever since. They are SO soft, and have the perfect fit. The quality of them is also unparalleled IMO – he’s worn this pair at least a hundred times and they haven’t stretched out or worn at all! If your man is in need of a new pair of jeans…definitely check out AG jeans at Nordstrom.
Michael and I are both on a major athleisure kick right now when it comes to our outfit choices lately! Nordstrom has TONS of really cool sneakers both for him and her that we’re loving. I’ve rounded up some of our favorite kicks below, that would make a great addition to your man’s spring wardrobe, especially if he’s also into the athleisure trend!:
More spring basics for him:
Michael’s Outfit Details: Zip-Up Hoodie | Short-Sleeve Shirt | Dark Jeans | Grey Adidas | Ray-Ban Aviators
