So as of today, March 16, I am 28 years old!! Which is so crazy to think how close I am to 30…I honestly feel like I never got past 22! I thought it’d be fun today to share 28 things about me – for any of you who might be new to following me. OR if you’ve been following me forever, you might learn some things you didn’t know!
one. I am one of 6 kids. yes – our family is huge, and getting even bigger now that people are having babies and i LOVE it. My siblings are some of my best friends and I love our family so much!
two. I eat dessert 7 days a week, literally. Yes I work out and eat healthy but dessert is my weakness and at this point…I refuse to give it up and don’t care to try lol.
three. we got our golden retriever, Beau, off of craig’s list (LOL). people ask me all the time where we got him from! I found him on Craig’s List from a lady in garland, TX!
four. my first ever job was a carhop at Sonic. but no, I was not talented enough to rollerblade out to the car while carrying food. (my next job was at Hollister, and then LOFT!)
five. I have an extremely unhealthy fear of dirty socks. Or really, any sock that has been put on a human foot and then taken off (even if only worn for 5 seconds). makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.
six. I absolutely love to run. I’ve tried to force myself to do other types of workouts bc I know variety is important…but running will always be my favorite and my passion
seven. I’m on the worship team at my church and love to sing!
eight. I actually love to cook. it’s hard when we are constantly traveling, but when we’re home for a long period of time I love cooking at home!
nine. my mom and sisters and I have a consistent group text going on and a day never goes by where we don’t talk to each other.
ten. i was born and raised in dallas, tx and just moved to boulder, CO about a year ago!
eleven. i think the word “mayonnaise” is the grossest word ever.
twelve. I’ve been blogging full time for about 3 1/2 years now!
thirteen. I majored in fashion merchandising in college and minored in business administration.
fourteen. I sleep with a bear (Fuzz) every single night and have ever since I was little.
fifteen. I took piano lessons for about 10 years when I was growing up
sixteen. the movie “gifted” is one of my all-time faves and I cry like a baby everytime I watch it.
seventeen. if 100% of my closet could be Free People and Madewell, I would have zero complains about that. (oh, and workout clothes)
eighteen. Michael and I went to Italy two falls ago, and Positano is probably my favorite place on planet earth. I still think about it all the time.
nineteen. I am a true introvert at heart. I can “turn it on” and i love my friends, but ultimately I love / am energized by being at home or by myself!
twenty. Michael proposed to me at White Rock Lake in Dallas and second to our wedding day, was the best day of my life.
twenty-one. I ran my first marathon last year, and I’ve run 4 half marathons (one of which was in Napa and it was SO amazing!).
twenty-two. I’ve never understood the concept of making your bed (unless people are coming over) because it seems like a colossal waste of time.
twenty-three. I recently started using Drunk Elephant products for my skincare routine and holy cow they are life-changing and I might not ever use anything else! I 100% believe in every single product they make.
twenty-four. I could eat Tex-Mex (aka Chuy’s or Mi Cocina) probably 5 times a week and never get tired of it. It’s kind of a problem.
twenty-five. When I travel, what I miss most about being home is beau and my nespresso machine!
twenty-six. Putting up clothes after I do laundry is the bane of my existence.
twenty-seven. I was a cheerleader in high school, and didn’t actually start running at all until college!
twenty-eight. By the grace of God, I’ve been a believer since I was 6 years old, and walking with Jesus ever since! He is the foundation of my entire life and who I am, and the most important thing in the world to me.

Wow, that was a lot of things haha! Hopefully y’all learned something new about me and enjoyed the randomness. I truly am so thankful for each and every one of you who read my blog regularly or support me on instagram, and all of the things y’all do to keep LKS up and running!
