10 new beauty products I'm loving

Okay guys. I’m not sure what’s happened to me. Sneakers and denim used to 100% be my weakness when it came to shopping. (They still slightly are BUT), now I am so obsessed with buying and trying out new beauty products! Makeup, skincare, face masks, hair products, etc! I do my research so I know I’m most likely not going to be throwing money away on a new product. But even then, some products are ‘meh’ and some are what I like to call beauty GAME CHANGERS. Today I want to share 10 new beauty products I’ve tried and absolutely fallen in love with!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer

I had been on the hunt for a new bronzer for spring / summer for months and tried several different ones that were just “okay”. And THEN I found this hourglass bronzer and it is so beautiful. I got it in the color ‘radiant bronze light’ so if you have pretty tan skin like me, that’s the color you should get. I got the smaller size because I wasn’t sure if I would love it, and definitely plan on upgrading to the full size ASAP. I love the subtle glow it gives you (without being ‘sparkly’). And it gives just enough bronze color to make it look like you just got back from a week at the beach, but not too much to where it looks harsh or fake! I have definitely found my new go-to bronzer for spring and summer.

Tom Ford Bronzer Brush

Speaking of bronzer…I recently splurged on this Tom Ford Bronzer Brush after reading so many amazing reviews about it. I’ve never spent this much money on a makeup brush before but let me warn you…once you try this brush out you will 100% understand the price. It makes your bronzer go on so flawlessly and evenly. I also use this same brush to apply highlighter which I will talk about below. This brush is made with soft, natural hair bristles and disperses powder evenly all over your face. I love that it picks up the optimal amount of product for gorgeous, radiant skin! You can also use it as an allover face blending tool to smooth lines after makeup application.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

This is another product I splurged on after hearing so many amazing things about it, and then trying it on for myself in Nordstrom. Finding the right highlighter can be so tricky, because I feel like they either don’t show up, or they are like a white line of shimmer across your cheekbones haha. I’m obsessed with this palette because it truly gives you the perfect ‘glow’. I apply it on my entire cheek bones, and also use it to kind of ‘set’ my T-zone area. I kind of just mix 2 of the colors together, depending on where I’m applying. (You can apply this with the brush I linked above if you want!)

YSL Volupté Liquid Balm

Okay, out of all 10 products I’m sharing today, I am probably MOST excited to share this liquid balm with y’all today! I always love the idea of being able to wear a lip gloss (instead of lipstick) because easier application and less drying. But TBH most lip glosses are so sticky and goopy and only stay on for about 5 minutes. EXCEPT for this new volupte lip product! Life-changing. First of all they have a very subtle but amazing smell / taste to them. (Don’t worry, it’s not weird, it’s just really nice haha). I also love them because they are actually moisturize and protect your lips! The formula is packed with soothing shea butter, antioxidant-rich vitamin E, coconut water and jojoba oil, which soften lines, enhance lip texture and lock in moisture.

Another reason I’m obsessed with these lip balms though is because the colors are gorgeous. I’m wearing #9 “stripe me fuchsia” in these photos, but also bought it in #1 (a very light pastel pink I love), and #10 (a gorgeous berry color). The colors stay on way longer than what you’d expect since it feels so light and hydrating. I seriously want these in every color now!

Oribe Shampoo + Conditioner for Beautiful Color

Okay, moving on to hair products now! You guys know I have been an Oribe girl for years and years. But recently I felt like my hair color was fading so fast, when I was in the sun. So my hair stylist recommended getting the oribe shampoo and conditioner for beautiful color and I have noticed such a difference in my hair! My color lasts so much longer (I don’t get anything major done to my color. but my highlights tend to get brassy or the base color kind of fades). This shampoo and conditioner is sulfate free and will allow you to go much longer between color appointments! It also smells amazing.

Oribe Split End Seal

This isn’t necessarily a new product for me but I don’t think I’ve shared it on the blog before! This product is a game changer for anyone who battles split ends or damaged hair. I apply this everytime after I wash my hair, before I dry it.  It reduces breakage by 65% and repairs up to 94% of split ends after one use. Split end seal isn’t cheap but you only need one pump each time you use it…so one bottle lasts me forever!

Oribe Blowout Styling Cream

This product is key for achieving the perfect blowout! Don’t you hate when you wash, dry, and curl your hair and it still looks ‘meh’? This styling cream will give your hair volume for days and also protect it from breakage and damage. It makes your hair super soft too. I apply it after I wash my hair, before blow drying, and then round brush my hair!

Clinique city block purifying charcoal mask

I first tried this mask out about a month ago, and knew right away I had found a new go-to charcoal clay mask. This mask is an amazing exfoliator and will do wonders for clogged pores. It detoxifies and exfoliates your skin in just 5 minutes, and only $28! You also get a gift with purchase from Nordstrom when you buy this product (and get your total to $125). The gift with purchase is a 24 piece beauty essentials set so you can try the latest from Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, and more! Anyway, I use this Clinique mask twice a week usually and it helps tremendously with the texture of my skin.

Mario Badescu super collagen mask

So this is actually a face mask I’ve been using for a year or so, but I wasn’t sure if I’d shared it with you guys yet! This mask is only $18 but does WONDERS for your skin in terms of hydrating and firming! (This is another gift with purchase product!). You guys know how obsessed I am with collagen, and then collagen in this mask refines and revitalizes your skin. My skin always feels so refreshed after using this. It’s great to use after a long flight or travel days!
