5 minute + 5 product makeup routine!

I’ll be real with y’all. Working from home, I’m typically makeup free everyday. I know a lot of people feel the need to “get ready for the day” whether they work in an office or work from home, but I personally love just being au natural when I’m working from home! On days when I have errands to run or a few appointments, I’ve somewhat mastered my 5 minute makeup routine that I want to share with y’all today! This is a really natural makeup look, but still gives you glowing skin and helps you look put together and awake. What I love about this routine is it only requires 5 products, so it’s great for when you’re traveling as well!

This makeup routine starts off with one of my tried and true makeup products. I’ve been using this It Cosmetics CC cream for years now and haven’t once deviated from it. You guys are probably already familiar with it because I’ve raved about it so many times. First of all, I love that it has SPF in it because gotta protect that face from sun damage! I also love that the coverage is really good but still leaves your face looking natural and fresh. (Most cc creams don’t provide any coverage IMO and I love the amount of coverage this one offers). I also love that it stays on basically all day long, and a little bit goes a long way…so this one bottle will last you months! So, step 1 in this 5 minute makeup routine is applying this amazing CC cream all over your face.

Step 2: I apply my all-time favorite under eye concealer: It Cosmetics bye bye under eye!This is another product I’ve had in my makeup routine for years now. Maybe it’s genetics or maybe it’s insomnia, but I’ve always had pretty dark circles under my eyes. This concealer completely covers dark circles, without making your under eye area look “cakey”. It stays on all day and the coverage is perfect IMO!

After applying concealer, I pull out this amazing NARS palette I recently got and LOVE. I’ve been using the NARS bronzer and blush for years…so when I saw they released this palette with a bronzer, blush, and highlighter…I knew I had to have it. It saves so much room in your makeup bag if you’re traveling! So, I apply the bronzer to the top of my forehead and under my cheekbone, apply the highlighter to the high of my cheekbones and under my eyebrows, and apply the blush to the apple of my cheeks. I do all 3 of these things with this amazing dual-sided makeup brush! I’m obsessed with this palette because ALL 3 colors are perfect. I hate when you buy a palette like this and you LOVE the blush, but the bronzer is just ‘meh’. The bronzer, blush, and highlighter in this palette are all amazing and will give you the prettiest glow!

Next, I apply my eyeshadow, and I’ve been loving this sultry palette by anastasia beverly hills. I love this palette because you can make it as glam or as natural as you want. I also love it because, if you’re in a crunch, you can use this palette for your eye shadow, use a dark powder to fill in brows, and also use it for an eyeliner if that’s a look you’re wanting! For my natural/everyday look, I typically just use this palette for eyeshadow and will also fill in brown with it!

Last but not least – I apply my absolute favorite mascara to my bottom lashes. (I have lash extensions on the top, so I never put mascara on there). The ‘better than sex‘ mascara gives you extremely full lashes, without making them look clumpy or fake. It also doesn’t smear, and stays on all day. I can’t recommend this mascara enough!

There you have it! in 5 minutes your face is done and ready for the day. I’ll typically apply a neutral lip color with this look and I’m set.
