Happy Thanksgiving friends! I hope you’re spending this day with family and loved ones, cozied up inside enjoying yummy home-cooked food. This is our very first Thanksgiving for Michael and I not to be with either one of our families. Since Shiloh was just born about 3 weeks ago, we knew we wouldn’t want to fly back to Dallas this year, so we’re staying in Boulder, and having Thanksgiving just the 3 of us! I definitely miss my family a ton and wish I could be with them today, but at the same time…have so much to be thankful for with this tiny new love in our family.
Honestly, this year more than ever my heart is just overflowing with thankfulness. When we first got pregnant, I was a little bit worried about my blog content. “Will people still follow me if I’m posting pregnancy stuff?! Will people care about baby posts?” I’ve been overwhelmed with how engaged and supportive y’all have been with this new content I’ve been sharing with y’all. I truly feel more connected to you, my audience, than ever! Obviously I have been and will continue to post about fashion and fitness and travel…but I’ve loved getting to share some of my journey with y’all as a new mom, and so appreciate the positive feedback you guys have given me about this content.
I just wanted to say a quick thank you, to each and every one of you who choose to follow me – who choose to check my blog every morning, or comment on my IG posts or send me an encouraging message. Honestly you are exactly why I do what I do every single day. I love engaging with other women all over the world, sharing a little bit of my experience and knowledge in the fashion world, beauty, fitness, and now mom world, in hopes that it makes your life just a little bit easier and a little bit brighter. And it truly means the world to me that you would choose to follow along and engage with my posts.
In previous years, I started sharing a lot of holiday content prior to Thanksgiving. That really just wasn’t an option for me this year with a new baby, but now that Thanksgiving is here…you can expect to see lots of holiday content over these next 4 weeks! I’ll be creating several gift guides, sharing the best sale info with y’all, decor inspo, and more. Leave a comment below though if there are any specific types of holiday posts you want to see from me. And, make sure to check the blog tomorrow for my black friday shopping guide!
