If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably noticed my everyday outfit posts are typically pretty budget-friendly. I’m not one to drop $200 on a sweater or spend $250 on a dress to wear to a wedding. I really try to find budget-friendly deals for myself and for you guys to shop! However, in the past few years, I’ve really learned to appreciate good investment pieces for my wardrobe. I’ve become okay spending more money on certain items that I know I will wear for years to come, that are amazing quality. I’m wearing a few of those pieces in today’s blog post, so I thought it might be helpful for y’all to do a stuart weitzman boots review as well as a review of my Gucci bag! These are both high ticket items that I have already gotten MORE than my money’s worth out of, and have been worth every penny IMO.
So first, my Stuart Weitzman boots review. I’ve had these for about a year and a half now and can’t even COUNT how many times I’ve worn them. Probably hundreds. I went with black because I knew they would go with everything, and they 100% do. They look great with jeans, adorable with sweater dresses, skirts, leggings…they are so easy to dress up or down. I’m wearing them pretty casual here with jeans and a sweater, but I’ve also worn them with a holiday skirt or cocktail dress and they look amazing.
These boots have been worth every penny for a few reasons. Despite the hundreds of times I’ve worn them, they still look brand new. They hold their shape really well and the suede is gorgeous. I also love them because they are classic and timeless, yet make a statement no matter what outfit you wear them with. They are flattering on every body type IMO – they make your legs look long and lean! I also love them because they don’t slide down or look bulky on my legs. A lot of OTK boots fall down on me or have too big of a gap and don’t look great with dresses. I love that these actually fit my leg and don’t fall down. The suede stretches though which means they will fit snugly no matter what body type you have! So, if you’ve been debating splurging on these boots, I’d say GO for it! I am absolutely obsessed with them. [Full disclosure, I bought the heeled version of these boots a few weeks after getting the Lowlands because I loved them so much and was wearing them 24/7 haha].
Okay, now onto my Gucci marmont bag! Honestly, a year ago I could never FATHOM spending this much money on a bag. I never judged women who did it, I just felt like there’s no way I could ever justify that and pull the trigger. And then…I did. And my world was forever changed haha. You know when you pick out the perfect outfit, and you’re running out the door and think “shoot. what bag should I carry with this?!” and then you dump out all of your stuff from your current purse, put it in a new bag that goes better with your outfit, and run out the door. Just me? Haha this was story of my life pre-Gucci purse. One of the reasons I love this Gucci bag is because it goes with EVERYTHING. I’ve literally worn it with workout leggings and a sweatshirt, and I’ve also worn it with a nice cocktail dress to formal events. Similar to the SW boots, this bag is classic and timeless but takes any outfit to the next level.
The price of this Gucci bag is definitely reflected in the amazing quality of the bag. The leather is beautiful and very scratch / stain resistant. I carry this bag almost every single day and it still looks brand new! I also love the size of this particular bag. It holds my wallet, phone, lipstick bag, and a diaper or two haha. I know this is a bag I will carry for years to come and have zero buyer’s remorse since purchasing!

Just wanted to share these reviews with y’all in case you’ve been on the fence about purchasing either the SW boots or the Gucci bag! They are definitely high ticket items but have been MORE than worth the money IMO! And heck…it’s New Year’s Eve, so is there a better time to #treatyourself?!
