sephora haul: recent beauty products i'm loving!

I don’t know about y’all, but anytime I go into Sephora or start browsing their website, I always end up grabbing new products to try or walking out with a new lip color. It’s seriously dangerous lol but also so much fun! I also love anytime people share a “Sephora haul” with their favorite finds, so today I wanted to share my own haul on the blog! Some of the products I’m sharing today are old favorites, but most of them are new finds that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with over the last month or so! I’m sharing a few favorite makeup products as well as some goodies for your hair too!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer

Okay y’all know I have been using Bye Bye Undereye for years and have rarely strayed from it. But I recently got this Magic Away Concealer and haven’t stopped using it since! First off, I have never used a concealer that has a sponge applicator like this. It’s a total game changer! It makes application super easy and even, and you can apply it right where you want it without an additional sponge or brush. I also find that this exact formula is extremely hydrating, which is key for the undereye area. It doesn’t make that area look dry and crepe-y like some undereye concealers can. You just use a tiny bit and it instantly brightens and evens your skin. It also works super well on any blemishes or uneven pigmentation you have. I wear shade 3 for those who are curious! This product has been a total lifesaver, especially since having Shiloh and running on less sleep. I usually set it with this highlighting palette for an extra glow/brightness, and I use this brush.

Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer

I’ve posted about this on instagram stories before, but this is probably my favorite tinted moisturizer! It’s perfect for those days when you don’t want a full face of foundation, but you still want a little coverage and glow. It instantly makes you feel more put together and confident! The tint is subtle, so it looks really natural on any skin tone. My skin has more of an olive tone, but Martha (my assistant) has a more fair complexion and it works perfectly for both of us! It’s also super hydrating, so I especially love wearing it in the winter. But it’s also perfect for a beach vacay too! I’ve found that it offers just the right amount of coverage and really helps even out my skin, without feeling like I’ve got a lot of makeup on. The product comes out kind of grey/white and then will adjust to your skin tone as you apply. It’s a buildable product too so you can use a little more if you’re desiring more coverage/color. I usually use about a pea sized amount, so it really lasts a long time! This tinted moisturizer has definitely become a beauty staple for me.

Benefit Roller Liquid Eyeliner

Whenever you finish reading this blog post, you have to check out the reviews on this liquid eyeliner! I’m a little late to the party, but seriously everyone loves it! I feel like it can be hard to find a liquid eyeliner that’s easy to apply, lasts all day, and truly matte. Well, this eyeliner is all of that and more! It glides on your lid perfectly and allows you to be super precise when you apply. You can really control how thin or thick you want the liner to be. It’s the perfect true matte black and I’ve found that it lasts all day long without smudging or fading! I love the shape of the felt tip because it allows me to totally control where I’m applying my eyeliner and I don’t have to worry about accidentally getting it all over my eyelash extensions/lid.

YSL Plumping Lip Balm (in shades 1 and 2)

This lip balm is truly the best of both worlds: it’s extremely hydrating for your lips and it also has the perfect amount of pigment. It doesn’t have the thick, drying feeling that a lot of lipsticks do, but it still gives your lips a great amount of color. It really does give your lips a more hydrated, plump look. I love that it’s loaded up with antioxidants, peppermint oil, and hyaluronic adic (all good things!!) so your lips really feel extra moisturized all day long. That’s the other thing – I didn’t find myself needing to reapply constantly throughout the day. If I did reapply, it’s just because it felt so good on my lips lol but the color truly lasts for a long time. This is a great go-to lip balm to carry in your purse. The color isn’t too overwhelming (especially these two shades) and the formula just makes your lips feel amazing. If you’re not usually one to wear lipstick but you still want some  color, I definitely recommend giving this lip balm a try!

Living Proof Body Builder

Does anyone else cringe sometimes when they hear the word ‘hairspray’? I don’t know what it is, but I feel like SO many hairsprays leave your hair stinky and crunchy, and they weigh your hair down. Well, this Living Proof Body Builder hairspray is seriously a miracle worker. It functions as both a hairspray and a volumizer. You can control how much hold and volume you want too with the little customizable nozzle on the bottle. This will typically be the last thing I apply to my hair after styling. It smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling so soft, not sticky or hard (like some hairsprays do). I find that when I use it, my hair has a great amount of volume and my curls will last for SO long. This spray also adds a shine to your hair and helps eliminate frizz and flyaways. I’m telling you, it’s a miracle product and just does all the things!

Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil Serum

As someone who regularly applies heat to their hair, I’m always looking for products to help prevent/repair damage and dryness. This serum has been such an amazing addition to my hair routine! I love it because you can use it before or after styling, or even in the shower as a pre-shampoo treatment. You simply apply a few drops (like 2-4) through your hair and it helps repair any breakage while also adding a nourishing shine to your hair. You can use it on wet hair before styling and it also protects your hair from the heat. I love it too because a lot of hair oils can weigh my hair down and leave me looking a little greasy, but this one doesn’t do either of those things AT ALL! It’s seriously a miracle worker. If you regularly apply heat to your hair or just struggle with dry, dull hair, you should for sure try this Kerastase Oil.
