The older I get and the busier life gets, the more I really value having pieces in my wardrobe that you can wear for all aspects of life and pair back to several different things in your closet. Since I personally work from home, for me, versatility looks like being able to wear the same thing in my home office, running to the grocery store, playing with Shiloh, and meeting a friend for lunch (while still looking cute at the same time!). I’m all about that! For a lot of you though – I know you work in an office and probably have to get a bit more dressed up than what my “everyday versatility” looks like. So today I wanted to share some amazing spring pieces with all of my working girls that you can wear everywhere from the office to date night to weddings and everything in between!
First, let’s talk about this gorgeous floral cami. I love finding tops that you can dress up with a nice pant for work (maybe with a cardigan or blazer over it), but it looks just as cute with denim shorts for a casual weekend look! (See this post for how I dressed it down with black denim shorts!). Y’all know I also love anything button-front right now for nursing purposes, so I definitely couldn’t pass this top up!
Like I mentioned, even though I typically don’t “dress up” for work, I could not resist these amazing white crop pants! I love finding office appropriate pieces that are still feminine, on trend, and flattering! These pants are great too because they are SUPER comfortable and will pair so well with almost any spring or summer top you have hanging in your closet! They are perfect for the office, but you could also dress them down with a pair of slide sandals and a denim top!
I’ve had this ankle strap sandal for YEARS and can’t even tell you how much use I’ve gotten out of them. This is my go-to sandal for any spring / summer wedding, but they also look so chic with a pair of white skinny jeans! They come in a million colors and for good reason – it’s the most versatile heel you will ever own for such a good price! I also wore them on Easter Sunday for hours and my feet never hurt!
So if you’re someone who has to get semi dressed up for work, I can’t recommend all of the pieces in this outfit enough. You’ll feel chic, yet comfortable at work and you can pair every single one of these pieces back to so many other things hanging in your spring closet to make TONS of outfits out of just a few items! You could even wear this exact outfit with a pair of slide sandals after work to go pick up your kids or for a casual happy hour with friends. Again, I’m all about simplicity and versatility in my wardrobe right now because it makes life so much easier!
