As you guys know, we have been traveling a TON recently and done a lot of beach trips! My mom asked me the other day if I get tired of traveling all the time and I told her I’ve gotten my packing down to a science now, which makes traveling way easier haha. I’m sure a lot of you guys will be heading to the beach sometime this summer, so today I wanted to create a little beach packing guide for y’all! For all of our beach trips, Backcountry has been one of my first stops when shopping for summer essentials. I love that they carry a mix of fashion products as well as necessities for outdoor activities. The one piece I’m wearing in these photos is perfect for summer beach trips or weekends at the lake! I love it not only because of the adorable colors and stripes, but also because it’s super functional and fits amazingly. You can chase kids around in it, do water sport activities, or just lay by the pool. I’m all about a classic, great fitting one piece and this one meets ALL of my requirements for that.

I also LOVE this tunic top for beach trips. I love that you can throw it on over your suit for a light and breezy coverup…or just pair it with denim shorts as a regular t-shirt! It’s slightly longer in the back and has a loose and easy fit for any body type. For size reference, I’m wearing the XS! [and BONUS! the buttons are functional meaning this top is also nursing friendly!].
I carried this cotton macrame tote when we were in Mexico last week and it worked perfectly for an everyday beach bag, or carrying during the day to breakfast / lunch etc! I love the size of it and that it can pair with any outfit. When you’re packing for beach trips, packing pieces that you can mix and match with a lot of different things is key so you don’t take up too much space in your suitcase!. So this tote was perfect for that.
