Hi friends! Happy Sunday! Y’all know I typically don’t do blog posts on Sundays but…I kinda like the idea of it! Just something for you guys to read as you’re having a lazy Sunday at home, you know? Let me know your thoughts on that!
If you follow me on stories you’ve probably seen me building hype up about this Sephora haul all week long haha. A few weeks ago I went into Sephora, not necessarily needing one specific thing…but wanting to try out a bunch of new products for summer to review for you guys! And holy cow, did I have the BEST luck! Today I’ll be sharing what I bought and what I’ve been loving!

sol de janeiro bum bum cream

I’d been seeing this cream EVERYWHERE recently – blogs, social media, magazines, and it piqued my interest. I read the description of it online and this cream sounded like EXACTLY what I needed for summer. The concept behind it is that it kind of just lifts, tightens and smooths your skin – making your body look and feel ready to be in a brazilian cut bikini! You definitely can use it on your “bum”, but you will want to use it all over your skin when you see how amazing it looks and feels. This will definitely become a summer essential for me anytime I’m putting on a swimsuit or just want my skin to look smooth and beautiful!

bobbi brown lipsticks in pale mauve and pink cloud

Honestly, prior to last week, I hadn’t looked at or worn bobbi brown lipstick in YEARS! For no particular reason, other than I just kind of forgot about it haha. But when I was walking through Sephora, these lipsticks caught my eye because of how many beautiful shades of pink they came in. I’ve been on the hunt for a few new summer pinks and found two new favorites for sure! In these photos, I’m wearing the color ‘pale mauve’, which is the lighter of the two. It’s a light pinky nude that I think makes your face look tan and just a great neutral color! I also bought it in ‘pink cloud‘ which is definitely more PINK pink between the two and makes more of a statement. I like pink cloud though because it’s definitely pink, without being TOO over the top. This is still a color you can wear on an everyday basis in the summer! Finding a good pink can be tricky because I really don’t like orangey undertones, and this pink just has neutral undertones which I love. I also tried on and loved the color ‘neutral rose’, which might be my next purchase!

fresh black tea face mask

I talked about this amazing mask on stories last week so y’all might’ve already given it a try! This is the type of mask you want to wear when you’re going on a date night, have a big event, or a photoshoot that day. It does exactly what it says – “instantly perfects”. The mask will instantly smooth out your skin and give you the prettiest glow. It also has a cooling effect so it just feels amazing on your skin! It’s so easy to use too – just put it on after you’ve washed and dried your face. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes, rinse off…and see how amazing your skin looks!

tarte mascara and primer

I’ve been getting so many sweet DM’s from you guys about my lashes – saying how amazing they look and asking what I’m using! (First of all – thank you!). I found an AMAZING lash combo that gives my lashes SO much length and volume! I use this primer first, and then apply this mascara. The combination of the two will make your lashes look so long. It also doesn’t smear or rub off throughout the day at all, and it’s not clumpy! Prior to trying this out…I was ride or die too faced “better than sex” mascara…and I think these might just have that beat!

fresh seaberry cleansing oil

This oil is SO GOOD for taking makeup off at the end of the day! BUT, you can find any makeup remover or cleansing balm that might be able to accomplish that same simple task. The reason why I love this product is because it’s an omega rich cleansing oil that can remove even waterproof makeup, but also help your skin maintain it’s natural moisture levels, for radiant and glowy skin. It’s one of the best cleansing oils I’ve ever used, and you’ll be hooked after the first time you use it!

fenty lip balm

This is a brand new product I bought from Sephora just from walking through the store and trying it on. I bought it a week ago and have legitimately worn it every day since. The reason I love this lip balm so much is because it’s perfect for those ‘no makeup makeup’ days. It goes on like a subtle gloss without being sticky or tacky. It feels amazing on your lips – so smooth and soft + provides moisture, and gives them just a subtle pink glow! It almost feels like you’ve put on regular lip balm when your lips are chapped…but instead gives your lips a really pretty, sheer gloss to them! Convinced that every girl needs this product this summer!

Other tried and true faves I picked up at Sephora

Drunk Elephant umbra tinte spfDrunk Elephant D-bronzi

So I’ve written about these products hundreds of times on my blog haha so I won’t go into too much detail here. But these two products are my secret weapon to glowy bronzy summer skin! This is the SPF I apply every single morning as the last step in my skincare routine. I love it because it has a SLIGHT tint to it, giving your skin just a little bit of coverage and really pretty glow! If you aren’t applying an SPF every single day, it is CRUCIAL for your skin! This particular SPF helps prevent free radical and oxidative damage on your face!

And in the summer I mix Drunk Elephant d-bronzi with the spf and apply every morning! D-bronzi is SUCH a cool product that I’ve never seen from any other brand! This is a serum that immediately replenishes the delicate balance that supports a healthy barrier function of skin – basically giving your skin sunshine’s bronzy color without the damage! [Warning: I’m about to nerd out on you because I think this is such a cool product]. This serum has so many amazing things in it for your skin: a chronopeptide which mimics the antioxidant benefits of vitamin D, omega-rich virgin marula, and black currant seed oils, along with vitamin F (fatty acids)! So essentially this is a concentrated mix of protective antioxidants that will boost your skin’s defenses against pollution and environmental stressors.

SO the reason I’m so obsessed with d-bronzi is because it does AMAZING things for your skin WHILE giving you a gorgeous bronzy glow at the same time! And a little bit goes a LONG way! I just add a few drops into my hand, mix with the umbra spf, and apply!

That’s it for my summer sephora haul! Well, maybe my first summer sephora haul haha. I’m sure there will be more to come soon! If you haven’t already, I would definitely recommend joining Sephora’s Beauty Insider Program. It’s a free rewards program that gives you access to fun perks like discounts and promos, free makeovers, and even a birthday gift! It’s so fun to cash in your “points” (you earn them simply by shopping at Sephora) for fun new beauty product samples! Anyway, hope y’all enjoyed today’s beauty haul. Thanks for reading!
