Over the last few months, I’ve been hearing SO many amazing things about NuFACE devices – a skincare device that can help with anti-aging, smoothing fine lines, firming up your skin, and more. TBH, I’m really skeptical of these skincare “devices” you can use at home, for a few reasons. 1) A lot of them seem gimmicky to me and don’t actually work, and 2) I don’t want to add one more (time-consuming) step to my skincare routine every single day in order to get results. But, I’ve seen several influencers I really trust rave about some of NuFace’s products so my interest was piqued. My interest was piqued even MORE when I saw that they released this new device called FIX that apparently can produce results in just 3 minutes! All about that.
Before I get into my review of the FIX device, I want to quickly share what NuFACE is and what their products do. (I don’t know about you, but I’m all about research and knowing the facts before I decide whether or not I want to try out a product or device!). So NuFACE has four products now that use microcurrent treatment, which is one of hottest innovations in the anti-aging industry. Microcurrent treatment is used in top spas and medical offices for facial contouring, toning and firming of aging skin. It’s a safe and effective technology for anyone who wants to attain or maintain a healthier, younger looking appearance. The results can be so dramatic that microcurrent therapy treatments are often referred to as the “5 minute face lift”!
So, why was I interested in trying out their new FIX device? I am 29 years old and really wanting to learn all I can about anti-aging skincare. I think my skin still looks pretty young right now, so any anti-aging treatment I do is more for preventative purposes (even though I’m definitely starting to notice some fine lines around my eyes and a forehead wrinkle!). I’d also seen that the FIX device can be used on your lips to help give them a more full / plump appearance (because it stimulates collagen production) and I was definitely interested in trying that out!
Now that we know what NuFACE is and what their products do, let’s dive into their newest device – the FIX! This tiny but mighty device instantly targets the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, lips, and forehead within 3 minutes. One of the reasons I’m obsessed with the FIX is because you can honestly see results right away… but the results are also cumulative. So the longer (and more consistently) you use it, the greater your results will be.
I love how tiny this device is. You can throw it in your purse and use it on the go and it’s super easy to travel with! Occasionally I will use my FIX at my office desk for a quick 3 minute “pick me up” for my face. Which, brings me to my next point – how I personally use my FIX!
On an everyday basis, I leave my FIX by my bathroom sink and I use it either morning or night, after I cleanse my face and before applying any serums. After cleansing your face, apply the NuFACE FIX Serum. You want to apply a mask-like layer of the serum into your skin to get the best results. This serum is amazing because it’s not only an activator for the microcurrent treatment, but it also helps firm, brighten, AND moisturize your skin. So you can honestly use it on its own, without any device, and you will see benefits!
After applying the serum to your target area (ie: around your eyes, lips etc), use your FIX device with a “feathering” technique to erase / smooth away the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I think you are supposed to spend 3 minutes on each targeted area before moving onto the next one (the device automatically shuts off after 3 minutes). But, if you’re in a hurry you can just do 3 minutes total and get your eyes, forehead, lips, etc. Like any skincare, you will get out of this device what you put into it. If you focus on each targeted area once a day for 3 minutes per targeted area, you will probably see greater results than if you just do 3 minutes on your entire face every other day. Does that make sense? You’ll see results either way! But one will be more dramatic than the other.
However – this is why I love the FIX. There are some days I spend 3 minutes on my eyes, and then 3 minutes on my lips. There are other days where I’m really short on time and I just do 3 minutes on my entire face real quick before doing the rest of my skincare routine. I have seen results either way though!
Like I said, I typically do this either first thing in the morning, or before I do my bedtime skincare routine. But, I love that you can also throw the FIX in your purse and do it on the way to work if you need to (at red lights of course haha) or take a quick bathroom break at the office to get your “FIX” in!
I’ve been using my FIX for about 8 days now and have already seen awesome results! Honestly, my favorite benefit of the Fix thus far has been the fullness it has added to my lips! I use on my lips once a day and because the microcurrent stimulates blood flow which increases collagen production…my lips already look so much fuller! Because I saw results almost instantly, this made me want to continue being consistent with my FIX to see even greater results. I know lots of girls right now getting lip fillers (which, there’s nothing wrong with that!), but I love that the FIX can almost take the place of getting a procedure like that done!

The last thing I’ll cover because I figured a lot of you would ask is what does it feel like?! I can’t speak to NuFACE’s other devices because I haven’t tried them yet…but the FIX is 100% pain free and doesn’t make your face red at all. You can definitely feel the tiny microcurrents but it’s not painful in any way!
