Fall is officially upon us!

But depending on where you live, dressing for this time of year can be tricky. My whole family is in Dallas and my mom was just telling me how excited she is for fall clothes, but still sweating in sweaters right now because of the Texas heat! The weather in Colorado right now for the most part is amazing – but we still have some days that are in the 80s, and then the next day will be 60! So, the key to dressing for this time of year is layers. I’ve recently found some great fall layers from ModCloth I wanted to share with y’all today that will help transition your wardrobe from summer to fall! All of these cozy layers are under $100 and can be worn in lots of different temperature situations depending on how you layer them!

I am OBSESSED with this striped cardigan! The neutral colors, the large buttons, and the oversized fit – this had my name written all over it! I’ve recently been loving wearing cardigans as shirts for a totally different look – kind of takes it from cozy loungewear to a sleek feminine look in my opinion! But this cardigan is also great layered over a turtleneck as the temps start cooling off!

Also a huge fan of this grey colorblock cardigan from Modcloth! It’s so soft and I love how long it is! I’ve worn mine with denim like you’re seeing here, but also over a tshirt with leggings for a cozy athleisure look! This would make for the perfect travel outfit if you have any trips coming up!

Saved my favorite look for last! Honestly I’m not typically a huge scarf person but I’m in LOVE with this leopard print blanket scarf! It’s SO soft and cozy and I love that you can either wear it as a wrap or a scarf! It also makes for the PERFECT travel companion because it’s basically like having a blanket with you on the airplane! I think it’s SO chic and could easily be a date night look with black skinnies and heels, or a casual street style look, paired with distressed denim and sneakers! And the best part is that it’s only $29! We leave for France next week and I am most definitely taking this blanket scarf with me!
