We all love cozy sweater season around here, but let’s be honest…not all sweaters are created equal. I have a major love / hate relationship with sweaters because they either fit and feel perfect and are amazing…OR, they are too tight, too boxy, too itchy, too oversized, too bulky, unflattering, etc. But, when you find that perfect blend of cozy yet feminine…it’s like striking gold. You know what I’m talking about! Turtleneck sweaters especially can be major hit or miss. Some feel like they’re choking you, some are too floppy, others are just straight up not flattering. When I first tried on this oversized turtleneck sweater from Verishop, it actually felt like I’d struck gold! Before I spill the details on WHY this is the most perfect slouchy turtleneck sweater, first I want to talk about where I bought it from!

TBH, I’d never heard of the store Verishop until I received an e-mail about an opportunity to partner with them a few months back! When I get these types of emails, I instantly go to the brand’s website and/or instagram and check them out. This was one of those e-mails that was almost an instantaneous YES after browsing their website for just a few minutes! Right away, I noticed tons of my favorite brands on their site, like AGOLDE, Free People, Eberjey, and tons more. And they have such a huge selection of product from my fave brands, with a website that is so shopping friendly and easy to navigate. But another reason I instantly fell in love with this store is because they have an incredible ‘beauty + wellness’ section that I spent WAY too much time browsing! Verishop literally carries everything you could imagine in the wellness world – from skincare to hair, vitamins to diffusers…it is a one stop shop for all things wellness and it’s AMAZING. I discovered this hyaluronic acid serum through Verishop and have been loving it for the past few weeks! I’m telling y’all…whether you are shopping for fashion or skincare or wellness necessities…Verishop is like a black hole that will suck you in, in the best way possible.
Discovering new brands
Like I mentioned, what initially drew me into Verishop was seeing all of my favorite brands in one place on their website! But what I also love about this shop is that I’ve discovered several new brands I’d never even heard of before, that now I’m obsessed with! For example, the sweater I’m sharing with y’all today is by Billie the Label which I’d kinda heard of, but never really shopped before. And now I’m obsessed with this brand and want everything they make haha! I started browsing everything Verishop carries from this brand and found so many favorites! When I was going through Verishop’s new arrivals I found several brands like that, that I’d never heard of before but now absolutely love!
The REAL cherry on top for me with Verishop was their AMAZING shipping + returns policy! They have free one day shipping, no minimum value required! Y’all that is INSANE. I pretty much online shop for a living and I’ve never seen a shipping policy as generous as theirs! And they offer free returns as well!
Perfect slouchy turtleneck
Okay, now back to this turtleneck! This is more money than I’d typically spend on a sweater, but it’s one that I know I will be wearing for YEARS to come. The quality of this sweater is amazing – it doesn’t pull at all, you could dress it up for work, dress it down with jeans, or even wear it with leggings and sneakers. I could do a whole blog post on ‘5 ways to wear this sweater’, it’s that versatile. I also love that it’s perfectly slouchy and oversized. I typically don’t like my sweaters to be really fitted, but if a sweater is too oversized, that’s not a good look either. This sweater is loose and cozy while still being feminine and put together at the same time! I also like that the turtleneck doesn’t come up too high and isn’t too tight!
