Is there anything better than discovering new makeup that you absolutely love?! I know beauty products can be overwhelming and kind of hit or miss, so any time I try something new and it’s a hit, I get so excited. So for today’s post, I want to share my latest makeup find + give y’all all the details of why I’m so impressed with it. I feel like I don’t often dedicate entire blog posts to beauty products, but when I learned about these and used them myself, I knew I had to give y’all ALL the details! So grab a big cup of coffee because today I’m taking y’all through an entire new line of beauty products that I know you’re going to love just as much as I do!

the new Act IV Makeup Collection from Estée Lauder

When I first heard about the new Act IV makeup collection from Estée Lauder, I was pretty intrigued for a few reasons. One, I have been using Estée Lauder products for years now. One of my all-time favorite foundations is Estée Lauder, so I knew I trusted and loved the brand. Second, I appreciated the inspiration and heart behind this specific collection. This new line was curated by Estée Lauder’s great-granddaughter Danielle Lauder, who’s also an actress, and the products combines her love of makeup + Hollywood. Every product is designed to give you that Hollywood glow and to last as long as stage makeup (without feeling cakey/heavy). The collection includes products for your whole face, including brushes, too! So, here’s the lineup + my thoughts on each product!

a few callouts from the collection

evening your skin + getting that glow

I feel like over the last year or so, I have become obsessed with achieving a more glowy, dewy look to my makeup. I know it can be tough to find products that give you the glow without either a. making you look super oily or b. making you look like a sparkly tin man lol. Enter the Cinemattic Complexion Liquid + Spotlight Highlighter from the new Act IV collection by Estée Lauder. The complexion liquid truly blurs imperfections and gives your skin a more even, radiant finish instantly. I love how lightweight it is – it feels like you aren’t wearing anything and yet it lasts all day! You can wear it as a primer under your makeup or wear it alone. I feel like if you want that airbrushed finish to your makeup, you have to start first by smoothing out the skin and getting a nice, even canvas. This complexion liquid is just the way to do that!

The Spotlight Highlighter is definitely another favorite of mine from the collection. Y’all, I live for a good highlighter. It’s easily become a must-have in my makeup routine over the last year or so, and this new one from Estée Lauder is SO good! This highlighter has more of a silky formula to it, making it easy to smoothly  and evenly apply. I typically brush it on over my cheekbones and bridge of my nose (the spots where the sun/light hits naturally). The highlighter has a beautiful mix of lavender and honey tones that give your skin a really pretty sun-kissed warmth. It’s universally flattering and works well on any skin tone + type!

the trick to perfect application

I honestly haven’t found too many makeup brushes that I’m all that impressed with. I know it’s such a crucial part of your makeup routine, but for awhile there I couldn’t really tell the difference between an incredible brush and an ‘ehh’ brush. Well, these ones from Estée Lauder are definitely incredible and I instantly noticed the difference they make in how my makeup applies. There are four brushes in the Brushed by Fame Kit – all-over face brush, blush + highlight brush, eyeshadow brush, and an eyeliner brush. The marble + gold accents are so pretty too, so you can easily display these brushes on your bathroom counter or vanity if you wanted to. They feel amazing on your skin and really help you get the most out of your makeup.

my overall thoughts on the line

Honestly, this entire collection is SO good. I walk into every beauty collaboration + new product trial with some skepticism. As someone who spends a lot of time in front of the camera and just genuinely appreciates good makeup, I am pretty picky about what I’ll put on my face + what I’ll recommend to y’all. This new makeup line from Estée Lauder is one I truly can’t recommend enough to y’all. It’s beautiful, effective, and really lasts well. Estée Lauder is a brand I’ve been suing in my makeup routine for years, and one I definitely still stand by. I’ve been using these products for a little over a month now and can honestly say I would wholeheartedly recommend them to y’all.

Anytime I’ve used these products, I’ve gotten messages from y’all on Instagram asking about my makeup and noticing that it’s something I’ve changed up recently. It always makes me happy when y’all get just as excited over new products as I do! So, with that in mind, I’ll be sharing a lot more about these products + how I use them on Instagram stories today, so be sure to check that out too! Thanks so much for reading today’s post. Let me know if you try these products or already have a few in your makeup bag!

This post was created in collaboration with Estée Lauder. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
