During the summer, when I’m on the go and looking for something simple and breezy to throw on, I always gravitate towards sundresses! Whether it’s a simple spaghetti strap, a long maxi-dress, a casual t-shirt dress or a flowy mini, sundresses are my go-to choice when I’m looking for a trendy, quick fix as I head out the door.
Today I rounded up some of my current favorite sundresses in a few different lengths and styles, and they all have this beautiful pastel, sherbet hue that is so in for summer! You can click any of the images in the collage to shop.
Maxi dresses I’m loving
I have pretty long legs and a longer torso, so I love wearing maxi-dresses! My favorite thing about them is they feel dressy, but they’re also super comfortable (also you don’t have to shave your legs when you wear them, which is a bonus in my book haha!) I love the button details on the back of this nude maxi-dress. It’s so simple, but the tiered silhouette is elegant and flattering.
This white maxi has a similar tiered shape, but the thin straps and cut out details give it a beauty, boho vibe. I’m also in love with this striped tank top maxi-dress because it’s super loose and comfy – perfect for throwing on to run errands, and you can even style it with sneakers like I did here!
Short sleeve sundresses
There is something so comfortable and feminine about a short sleeve sundress! Sometimes I’m not in the mood to wear a dress with a thinner strap, especially if I’m running around with Shiloh or looking more coverage up top. I love the floral pattern on this Abercrombie sundress and the cinched waist makes it really flattering. You can’t go wrong with a v-neck dress, especially if it doesn’t cut too low!
This smocked sundress also comes in four different colors that are super bright and summery and I love the ruffle detail around the waist line. It would be perfect for a beach trip where you’re looking for a romantic, tropical vibe! Finally, your closet isn’t complete without a classic white sundress, and I’m in love with this one from Amazon! It’s literally less than 30 dollars and it’s lined so you don’t have to worry about what you’re wearing underneath!
Spaghetti strap sundresses
Last but not least, the spaghetti strap sundress! I love how dainty and girly a spaghetti strap is – tops or dresses, and I feel like they’re flattering on every body type because they really accentuate your collarbone! The blue midi-dress I’m wearing in these pictures is so soft and I loved the ruched bodice. I’m also in love with tie-dye this year, and this little champagne tie-dye dress is just too cute!
