I’ll be honest with you guys – sweater dresses are very hit or miss for me. They are either too tight, unflattering, itchy….OR they fit slouchy and comfy and look so chic! The good sweater dresses out there are so versatile and some of my favorite items hanging in my closet! So today I wanted to share my 6 all time favorite sweater dresses with you guys. These would be great for Thanksgiving, holiday parties, everyday, fall and winter date nights, etc…which is exactly why I love a good sweater dress!

1. wrap it up sweater dress
This dress is actually super flattering and perfect for a date night. It hugs your body in all the right places and I like that the v shows some skin without being too deep!
2. easy crewneck long sleeve sweater dress
This sweater dress is under $50 and I’ve worn mine with sneakers, combat boots, or booties! Really easy to dress up or down!
3. brilliant long sleeve sweater dress
Vero Moda at Nordstrom makes some of my all time favorite sweater dresses. They are so well-made, fit great, but still a really reasonable price! This one kind of has an ‘unstructured fit’ but also isn’t too oversized which I love.
4. colorblock turtleneck sweater dress
I’ve shared this color block sweater dress on here before but I absolutely love these colors for fall. This dress also looks stunning with leather booties!
5. oversized long sleeve mini dress
This is the dress I’m wearing in all of these photos and LOVE! I love the oversized fit, love that you an wear it with knee high boots or pair with combat boots for an edgier look, like you’ll see pictured on Nordstrom’s site. It’s soft, it’s a great length, and it’s under $100!
6. funnel neck sweater dress
This is another dress I’ve shared on here before because I actually wore it for our Christmas card photos last year! It’s so feminine and flattering and a timeless sweater dress you’ll have in your closet for years to come.
For size reference, I’m wearing this dress in an XS! I’d say the fit is tts but meant to be oversized!
