go-to cold weather coffee orders!

Shop

It’s that time of year y’all! Starbucks has officially put out their holiday cups and I am here for ALL the cozy cold weather coffee drinks! Today I wanted to share my 3 go to Starbucks orders with y’all when it’s chilly outside! If you’ve been following me for a while, some of these will probably sound very familiar to you!

Before I dive into my coffee orders though, I wanted to chat about these new SOREL boots I have been LOVING this fall! I love that they are both functional but also adorable at the same time! They are totally waterproof and insanely comfortable! I love how they look paired with leggings of denim! I also love the elastic on the side, so they are super easy to slip on and off. These boots are especially perfect for places like Dallas because you can wear them when its wet and rainy, even if it’s not super cold outside. They are super functional for city life / lots of walking as well, since they are SO comfortable!

I wore this outfit last week on a wet / dreary day in Dallas and it was perfect for running errands and running to starbucks for an afternoon pick-me-up. Here are 3 of my favorite coffee drinks for when it’s cold outside!

  1. “Simsamon” Dolce Latte – One of you guys actually came up with this name for a drink I made up a few years back, and it stuck haha! This is an almond milk flat white with 1 pump sugar free cinnamom dolce (or two pumps in a grande). I love this drink because it’s warm and cozy and sweet without being TOO sweet, and it has a good amount of caffeine in it! A flat white is similar to a latte, but it has more espresso in the espresso to milk ratio, than a latte does
  2. Dirty chai – This is how i order my dirty chai lattes at starbucks so that it’s just a little bit lighter, and to spend as little money as possible haha. Grande almond milk latte + 2 pumps chai. [Sometimes I’ll tell them with just one shot of espresso, if I’ve already had a decent amount of caffeine that day]. Starbucks’s chai has a decent amount of sugar in it, which is why I just do 2 pumps, instead of the 4 it usually comes with.
  3. Skinny peppermint mocha – I just discovered this drink from @themacrobarista on IG and it is SO good. Here’s how to order it: Grande cafe misto (cafe misto is half brewed coffee + half steamed milk) with almond milk + 1 pump skinny mocha + 1 pump peppermint. You can add in a splenda if you want it to be a little sweeter! But I think it’s plenty sweet as is, and under 100 calories!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love my SOREL boots (and legit lived in them when we lived in Colorado!). Rounding up my 5 favorite pairs and why I love them below! For all my Dallas followers, be sure to check out our local Dillard’s store where you can pick these up in person!
