i wanted to share with y’all my 5 minute skincare routine i like to do during the summer, especially when i’m traveling or short on time! i’ve tried to start really listening to my skin to see what it actually needs that day which is how i’ve ended up with this routine and ‘skincare smoothie’. my skin has been a little dull + a little dry so i’ve been wanting to brighten + moisturize it!
skincare routines can feel so overwhelming so i wanted to share one with y’all today that’s super simple, takes less than 5 minutes, but is also SO effective and will make your skin so healthy and glowy!
step 1: cleanse
i love this jelly cleanser from drunk elephant!! it does an awesome job of removing dirt, oil + makeup but still keeping the skin hydrated. after i wash, i make sure to pat dry my face instead of dragging a towel across to make sure my skin doesn’t get irritated or dried out.
step 2: skincare smoothie
next, i apply my skincare smoothie. i literally mix all 3 of these products together in my hand + apply to my face every morning to get a glowy, bouncy + hydrated look/feel. drunk elephant products are all silicon free + biocompatible so i can mix all products + my skin will still absorb all the antioxidants, omegas + other nutrients.
- 1 dollup of this Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer (for firmness/bounce)
- 1 pump of this C-Firma serum (for dullness + uneven skintone/texture)
- 3 drops of D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops (for a “no-makeup” makeup look)
step 3: spf
nighttime routine edits
at night my 5 minute routine looks a little different since i skip the skincare smoothie + spf. i’ll do a double wash with the jelly cleanser, then apply this TLC serum and retinol before finishing with the protini moisturizer.
