i try and do a closet cleanout at least once a quarter to make sure i’m keeping my wardrobe full of things i ACTUALLY wear. part of my job as a content creator means i get sent A LOT of clothes which of course…i love haha but it can lead to a super messy, disorganized closet and just owning too much STUFF i don’t need.
so i recently forced myself to try on EVERY SINGLE PAIR of jeans in my closet and only keep my absolute faves that i actually wear on a regular basis. i got rid of SO MANY jeans! so today i wanted to share with you guys my top 5, ride or die jeans that have made it through countless closet clean outs, that are on my regular rotation!

before we dive in – i definitely kept more than 5 pair of jeans haha. and i have a few abercrombie jeans and levi jeans i freakin love. but i wanted to keep today’s post limited to 5, splurge worthy, pair of jeans that i’ve had for years and still wear on a weekly basis. so, if you’ve been looking to invest in a pair of denim over $100…these are my absolute favorites (and have been for years now).
sometimes i love a good crop jean because i feel like they are the most fool proof when it comes to pairing with shoes! this pair in particular has a relaxed, straight leg fit. they are high waisted and i love where they hit at the ankle. these fit TTS for me (wearing size 25).

i tried on my first pair of re/done jeans in aspen a few years ago and was SO impressed with how incredible they fit, the great quality, and the cute style. if you follow me on IG, you saw me wear this pair literally 3 nights in a row last week - for a date night, a night out with girlfriends, and then a couples shower michael & i attended. i love that you can dress these up with heels or dress them down with sneakers. they are high waisted, have a loose fit, straight leg. SO flattering and i love the distressing on them. these run a little bit big IMO. I'm wearing a size 25 and they fit a little loose!

these agolde jeans are probably my most worn pair of jeans, ever, and the ones i own in the most washes. i think they are so universally flattering. they have such a classic, high waist fit and i love that they aren't a skinny jean but aren't too wide leg either. they don't have any stretch to them which i personally like because i've had mine for years and they don't stretch out! these fit TTS for me - if you're in between sizes, i suggest going up a size. (wearing the size 24 here if that helps).

when i'm wanting just a classic, flattering, great-fitting pair of black jeans...these are my go to (when i don't want any distressing). they are high rise, and a crop length so they look great with pumps, sandals, booties etc! super flattering and the type of black jeans you'll have in your wardrobe for years to come. these fit true to size - i'm wearing the size 25. (if in between sizes, go up a size).

i bought these grlfrnd jeans 2 years ago and ended up buying the exact same pair of jeans in 3 different sizes lol. one was my pre-pregnancy jean, one i wore during a chunk of pregnancy, and then another size for postpartum. because i love and wear them THAT much. every single time i wear these jeans someone compliments me / asks me where they're from. i love the distressing. they fit so well and don't stretch out. and i also love the crop length because it makes them easy to style with any type of shoe. these also don't have any stretch so if you're in between sizes, i would suggest going up a size.

i know it's the dead of winter and denim shorts are probably the last thing on your mind. but i would be remiss to do a post about denim without talking about these shorts. i bought my first pair of these shorts before shiloh was born - so over 5 years ago. and they are still my #1 favorite pair of denim shorts and hands down my most worn pair. they are high waisted, the perfect length, super flattering, just the right amount of distressing. they literally check ALL my boxes! if you're in between sizes i suggest going down a size! i'm wearing size 24!
