if you’ve been following me for a while, you know i love mixing high and low – i appreciate designer bags but also love a good $20 amazon find! a good chunk of my wardrobe is target but i also am okay with splurging on a pair of designer jeans that will last me for years.
in the past few months i’ve made a few ‘splurge’ purchases that have been SO worth the money. there’s nothing worse than when you splurge on something and end up wearing it like…three times. today i wanted to share some of those purchases i’ve made lately that have been WELL worth the money, and why!
okay i actually got this bag around christmas last year, so, not necessarily new. but i get asked all the time what my favorite designer bag is. i don't think i could pick a favorite but this one would for SURE be up there and i'm honestly kind of SHOCKED how much i carry it. this is the first prada bag i've ever bought and have gotten SO much use out of it. it's perfect for date night outfits, church dresses, but also casual denim outfits like i'm wearing here! i was on the fence between getting black or brown but i love the brown because i carry it year round! summer or winter! the quality of the leather is so beautiful and it really is such a classic, versatile bag!

i've shared these jeans at least 20x on my IG and in recent blog posts haha so i won't go into a ton of detail here but. if i was stranded on a dessert island and someone said i could only take ONE pair of jeans, this pair would be it. they are the type of jeans that every time you put them on, you love them. which is rare with jeans. they're so flattering, yet comfortable. the perfect straight leg jean that works with sneakers, boots, heels, or flats! and the quality is SO good. i've worn the heck out of them and they are still in perfect condition. these were a splurge but they are hands down the most worn pair of jeans in my closet.

i just bought these rag & bone boots a few weeks ago and can already tell they will be my staple boot this entire fall season. they are SO comfortable, the perfect neutral color, the heel height isn't too high, and i love the pointed toe. rag & bone makes the most high quality boots too that will last you for years & years to come. since i bought these, i've styled them with everything from jeans to dresses and they look so good with EVERYTHING!

if you've been following me for a while, you know i'm typically a REALLY big sunglass kinda girl. but i tried this pair on at nordstrom a few months ago and fell in love. i think they are SO classy, really different than anything else i own, and so flattering on any face shape. celine makes the most high quality sunglasses that will last you forever, and i think this pair is so chic / on trend, yet timeless at the same time! these have been my go-to, most worn pair of sunglasses ever since i bought them a few months ago!

i shared these new hokas on stories a few weeks ago but in case you missed it...these are definitely my favorite pair of running shoes right now. they are lightweight, yet still have great support. and they feel so responsive when i run (almost like a 'spring back' feeling that makes you feel like you're running faster)! they're super comfortable and hoka's running shoe quality is 10/10! i used to rotate between 3-4 pair of running shoes whenever i'd head out for a run, but since i bought these, these have been the only pair i want to wear!

i'm not on to typically spend $200 on an everyday type of dress but let me tell ya...this one has been well-worth the money for me. first of all, i love that you can wear it year round. it's also really flattering, feminine, classic fit, but also works with a bump. this has been my go-to dress for sunday morning church, baby showers, brunches, and everything in between! it's not too short and the type of dress you can really dress up or down! i just got it a month ago and have already worn it to church, my sister's baby shower, brunch with girlfriends...and gotten so many compliments on it!
