black swing tank (comes in 3 colors!) | tortoise reflective sunglasses | distressed skinny jeans | lace-up sandals | leather shoulder bag | aqua tassel earrings | leather watch
Within the past month or so, I’ve developed a major obsession with (or really, reconnected with my love for) black and brown. This color combo is truly one of my favorites because it’s flattering (hello, black is slimming on everyone!), and looks so classy yet with a boho vibe all at the same time,
This look I’m sharing with y’all today probably doesn’t look like anything special, but each piece in this outfit all play an essential role in my wardrobe! You’ve obviously seen me post about these jeans 100 times now, but just in case you don’t believe me yet…they are SUCH a great investment. 100% worth the money. One of the most comfortable and flattering pair of jeans I own.
This criss cross black swing tank is less than $40 and is one of those tops you’ll grab from your closet when you’re running out the door for errands, or heading to Chuy’s with your husband. This black swing tank is simple, yet super flattering and feminine all at the same time! I love it in the olive color as well! I also love that this black swing tank looks adorable under a camel cardigan, so I can still wear it whenever (IF ever) temperatures start to cool off!
I went back and forth a few times on whether or not to keep these lace-up sandals, because let’s be honest…do I really need another pair of sandals? I’m SO glad I kept them though because their one of two pair of flat sandals in my wardrobe that I legitimately wear at least 4-5 times a week. They go with everything and they are SO comfortable! I also love the color of them and that the material is suede-ish, so I’ll easily be able to wear them into September as well!
Did y’all enjoy your weekend? I had such a blast in Austin with girlfriends for my friend Lauren’s bachelorette weekend! Definitely feeling a need to detox after everything we ate and drank haha (for real had Domino’s pizza at 2am, and I’m not sorry about it). Let’s start this week off healthy and strong and striving to do our best, in whatever we’ve been called to do this week!
xo Lauren
