It’s almost that time again… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is right around the corner, and if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know this is one of my favorite sales of the entire year!
Unlike most sales that discount leftover seasonal inventory, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is so special because you’re shopping brand new fall merchandise before it’s even officially released—and it’s all marked down for a limited time. Once the sale ends, those prices go right back up to full price. It’s one of the very few times you can save on brand-new arrivals instead of end-of-season leftovers.
2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates
Here are the important dates to save:
- July 6: Preview begins! You can browse the entire sale and start building your wishlist.
- July 14: Early Access begins for eligible Nordstrom cardholders (based on Nordy Club status).
- July 15: I’ll be shopping the sale and sharing my full try-on haul with you!
- July 18: The sale opens to everyone (public access).
- August 9: Last day to shop sale pricing before everything returns to regular price.

My Biggest Tip: If You Love It… Buy It!
If you’ve never shopped the Anniversary Sale before, here’s the one thing you need to know: the best pieces sell out FAST. Sometimes within hours, and often within the first day.
If you find something you really love, my advice is always to grab it while it’s available. Nordstrom has an excellent return policy, so if you change your mind later, you can always send it back. I’d much rather have the option to return something than regret waiting and miss out completely.
What I Personally Think Is Worth Buying
After covering this sale for years, I’ve definitely become more selective about what I purchase.
For me, the categories that are absolutely worth shopping are:
- Designer denim. This is hands-down one of the best opportunities all year to score premium denim at a great price.
- Fall boots. Whether you’re looking for classic knee-high boots, everyday booties, or a great suede pair, this sale almost always delivers.
- Investment pieces. I usually pick up one or two splurge items that I’ll wear for years—think a beautiful suede jacket, a timeless handbag, or designer sunglasses.
- Beauty exclusives. Nordstrom always puts together incredible beauty sets and value bundles that are some of the best deals you’ll find all year.
Personally, I don’t usually focus on the inexpensive trend pieces—like a $20 sweater. Those kinds of items are fun, but you can usually find similar pieces throughout the season if you end up needing them.
Instead, I like to use the Anniversary Sale to save money on the higher-quality pieces I’d already planned to invest in for fall.
