Mock neck sweater (also love this one) | Distressed skinny jeans | Suede slouch boots | Suede fringe handbag | Tortoise sunglasses | Crystal drop earrings
No matter how many new things I’ve added to my closet recently…this fall and winter, there are a few pieces I’m totally playing favorites with, that I want to share with y’all today! If you’ve been following me for a while, these favorites will come as no surprise to you, because they appear on here or instagram quite often! But I want to share with y’all exactly why these pieces rank so high in my closet slash why they’re such good purchases.
- Current Elliot distressed skinny jeans – these jeans have been in at least 100 of my blog posts, no joke, and I wear them 3 times a week or more. First of all, if you look at them on Nordstrom’s website, they have tons of amazing reviews. This is ALWAYS something I look at when I online shop! And these reviews don’t lie. These jeans aren’t cheap, but as soon as you put them on, you will see that they are totally worth the investment. The quality is amazing, so they will last you years, they are the perfect amount of “ripped”, and they’re so comfortable! (For size reference – I’m wearing the 25. I think they run TTS, but if you’re in between sizes, I’d say go down a size).
- Sam Edelman suede slouch boot – I wear these boots so often that sometimes I try to force myself to wear different shoes, because these get ALL the love. But they seriously go with everything and can easily be dressed up or down, so I can’t help but wear them all the time! I think the price is super reasonable, you can wear them with jeans or dresses, and I love this tan color! SUCH a good purchase, and you will get so much use out of them!
- Rebecca Minkoff suede fringe hobo bag – about a month ago, I was on the hunt for my fall/winter “it” bag. I love purses just as much as the next girl, but I can’t stand constantly changing out my purses…switching out your wallet and lipsticks and gum and snacks and Lord knows what else is in there! So I was on a mission to find a bag I could wear with anything, but a bag that also made a statement. This fringe bag is totally that for me! It’s big enough to hold all of my stuff (I even put my planner and iPad in here sometimes), but not too big for every day use.
So, these 3 items above…you have seen (and will continue to see) in SO many of my posts because they’re some of the most versatile pieces I own and I love them more every time I wear them!
Now, about this mock neck sweater! This was one of those sweaters that I saw online and clicked “add to cart // check out” before I even knew what hit me. First of all, I love this dark red color (but it also comes in several other colors!), and the price point was totally reasonable. I justified the purchase because it was going to be my Thanksgiving Day outfit, but I ended up wearing it before Thanksgiving…and have worn it a few times since! It’s one of those sweaters that’s great for church or a date or errands or…literally anything else!
Hope y’alls weeks are off to a great start! Less than 20 days till Christmas!
