A few weeks ago, Michael and I drove about an hour and a half to Colorado Springs to stay at Garden of the Gods club. It was truly such a special experience, so today I want to recap our stay there, in case you’re looking for a little summer get away!
Garden of the Gods club is both a private country club and luxury resort, located in Colorado Springs. Our room here (as you can see above) was really spacious yet cozy, and had the most breathtaking views of Garden of the Gods!
We stayed at Garden of the Gods Club for two nights, but had a packed 3 days here! Michael got to play a round of golf on the gorgeous Kissing Camels golf course. I just drove the cart and kept score for him haha, but it was truly one of the most beautiful golf courses I’ve ever seen! The weather was also absolutely perfect: sunny and in the mid 70s!

We also spent a lot of time at the pool, which was probably my favorite part of the resort. I’ve never been to a pool before with the backdrop of the mountains, and it was so beautiful! We ordered lunch at the club’s restaurant and enjoyed a really healthy and yummy meal by the pool (of course, complete with a glass of rosé!)
We ate at the resort’s restaurant for dinner on our last night there and it was such a special experience! We had an amazing tuna tartar appetizer, and then I got the salmon for dinner, and Michael got the steak. The service was spectacular, and our waiter was super helpful in making suggestions.
Last but not least, I want to share our experience at the spa at Garden of the Gods club! Michael and I got a couples massage here, followed by the couples experience after the massage (complete with the champagne and strawberries above!). I’m not gonna lie…I’ve had a lot of massages in my life because I’m seriously obsessed with them, and hold a lot of tension and stress in my shoulders/back. I told Michael and my family, that the massage I got at Garden of the Gods club was legit the best I’ve ever had! The entire spa experience was amazing – the facilities were beautiful, and they even had a Himalayan salt room which I definitely utilized before and after the massage!
One of the reasons we loved Garden of the Gods club so much is because the location is amazing! Our first night we went to downtown Colorado Springs and had dinner at the Rabbit Hole which was SO yummy, and walked to get ice cream afterwards (of course!). Garden of the Gods club is also RIGHT next to tons of hiking, which we we spent the majority of one of our afternoons doing! Click here to see more area attractions around the club!
So, if you’re in need of a summer getaway…I cannot recommend Garden of the Gods club enough. Not only is it beautiful, but you have the options to either make the trip super relaxing (hello, pool all day), or really active – going for hikes and using their fitness center! We did a little bit of both and it was such an amazing experience. I’m SUPER excited to share a discount code with y’all, if you’re considering booking a trip here! Use the code ‘ESCAPE50’ to receive a $50 resort credit, per night, to use at your leisure during your stay. Which means you can use it at the spa, for golf, on dining – or any of the amenities I mentioned in this post!
If you’re considering a membership to GOG Club, click here for all of that info! Let me know if y’all have any other questions about the resort…or even better…if you’ve been here as well, and loved it as much as we did!
Thank you to Garden of the Gods Club for hosting our stay!
